hi diversion group,

the discussioin in our forum is very interesting, helpful and encouraging.

i met 'bats' sometimes ago for a simple reason that we all love diversion...

i find diversion very gorgeous, reliable, and easy to ride with less maintenance required.

the fairing, i called it 'lion head' that is what most of the people called very enchanting, charming and useful. rain or wind cannot stop this bike from going especially tour in the north east of M'sia highway.

i used to ride back to my home town in M'sia with my special diversion. i find it fuss free and good performance too.

i will be joining the coming tour to JB if nothing come interruption. i owned a white special diversion, very much look like a TP one.

Wow, ur member number very nice, want to sell??

Hi BA,

THIs i might be able to help:

Impedence stablizers are not actually gimmicks, they are used commonly in the power industries with different names depending if its a generator/dyanamo system. Technically concept is called power factor correction.

Without going too much into technicalities, know that the bike has a power generating system. Due to the design of the generator system, this generation system is not at its most effecient due to the difference in the phase of the volatage/current. These (capacitive)impedence stabalisers help to 'correct ' some difference to make it more effecient.

What it simply translates is with an addition of this stabalisers, to maintian a steady charge at 12V, the rotor now rotates at a slower RPM to provide the same given power. This tanslates into a reduction a roatating inertia of the body which can felt as a slight reduction in the vibes.

Jus my 2 cents in the way i understand....

Thanx for clearing my doubts bro, useful information on the technical stuffs.

I"ll buy 5 of this things and install it on my battery then, sure feel like riding an FJR:smile:

Hi Bats,

Very simple spoil throw buy new one... your question does it damage the battery 'no'.

Hi Jleo,

Thanks for the elobration on the impedance stabiliser, which you are one of the right bugger to say.... "engineer" always is ~ an Engineer!...

Hi BA,

What I noticed and feedback- that you need to warm up the bike 4 to 5mins before moving off - there is a difference~ bike felt lighter on the throttle if compared before.

If you start and go- you don't feel much of a difference till you... ride for 4 to 5 mins later.

As for myself still haven't fix the FF50 drive light yet, passed few days very busy. After the saturday trip need to redo and tidy up some of the wiring to messy behind the cowling.

My luminous green rain coat from the MO- I sold to huckson slightly lesser- he is very keen and very excited about it...as for me "-wearing that green rain coat" I look like duplicating 'a tp image' which I rather not, as for my bike is already had scared some sh*t out of bengs and goons who speeds down their memory lanes, that is good enough.

Imagine those buggers, on the white diversion and luminous green rain coat combinations...he,he,heee!

I bought the RS taichi rain coat "rain master" from motoworld/branch rochor canal- for about $110/-

Hi Uncle Dahun,

Thanks alot.

It was a relax and fun ride.

Morning had some light shower from SG to GP. Everyone thought that it would be a "chilled and wet" ride, but surprisingly the sky was cloudy without rain, it was cooling and windy throughout the whole ride.

When will be the next short trip?
