I just came back from servicing my bike.

 

1st time use semi syn, bcos some people say old bike use semi better. I changed to castrol Power1 4T (last change 6000km ago) which the bottle write "improved power". I used 3 bottle and add a bottle of a gold colour can of additive which the uncle say increase power, reduce FC, clean internal...blar blar blar....duno real or not.

 

Then changed 4 spark plug also, use denso plugs which cost $10 each, then look at my old plugs, still looks very new (last change 12000km ago), regretted changing. Wanted to take back my old plugs to keep as spare, but forgot.

 

Also flush the coolant again (last done 8 months ago) bcos recently getting hot, abt 60-70% sometimes on hot afternoon traffic jam. I normally only 20-30%.

 

The uncle not bad, still help me adjust my mud guard bcos he say the tyre seems to be touching the mud guard. And also adjust the chain slack for me. He adjusted my clutch for me, now become very tight, hand tired easily but he say better bcos if too lose clutch plate may be touching the engine a bit when fully clutch in. He also adjust the trottle grip tighter and lubricate the trottle cable and clutch cable. All the services free.

 

I think overall not bad except the engine oil a bit lousy. I thot it would be better since most people say so. But I find that the engine feels more rough and at 90-100km/h a bit of vibration on the handle bar at the grips. Using fully syn, much less vibration and engine sound more relax, not as breadthless. Think I will change back to fully syn Castrol R4 or Repsol Racing 4T after I hit 5000km. Dont think I can tahan 6000km with this engine oil. Too lousy.

 

The price a bit high lei, almost same as Gopa. The engine oil he charge 3 X $13, still okay. The plugs 4 X $10, I thot each $8 only? The blue honda oil filter he charge $15, I thot $10 dollar only? Autobac sell the filter only $5. The coolant flush he charge $30 still okay. The gold color power fuel additive $6 I duno ex or not, never use b4. Total $130.

 

How do you guys think of the price? Ex?

but he told mi he bought from LAB...

Should be the Eden hotel there lor...the desert at the at the hawker by the seaside is veri nice :cheers:

 

Think its call (longan/sea coconut)...heee.....veri powerful for juz $2rm only.

 

Got otah,western food etc....the waiter/waiteress will crowd at ur table to take order, quite threatening.....heeee
