That is precisely why the bike has a choke. You should set the idle when the bike is at normal operating temp to 1.3-1.4k. When starting the bike from cold pull the choke on a bike to make it idle while warming up. That is what the choke is for.

 

Any bike that has the idle set correctly when warm will have trouble idling from a cold start without choke. Doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the bike, just means you need to learn where the choke lever is.

My TA200 manual states the regular usage of Choke damages the engine, and recommends not to use Choke as it damages piston rings. I have so far not used the Choke and my previous owner of the bike also said he never used the choke. Let me confirm about this in the CBR400 manual.

Went to Yishun dam earlier around 11:45pm. Did not see any babyblade group and returned back. I was stopped by the Police as there was a road block. I slowed down and went towards the Man in blue directing me to him. The Police officer just flashed torchlight at my eyes, and I said yes officer and smiled at him. He waved me to go without checking anything with me. What were the Police looking for? I was a bit worried about my Yoshi Exhuast, but had all the documents to show incase I was queried by the officer. I returned back home... meet you guys next time.

It is juz a routine check from them. So you went to dam alone?

Yep no reason to worry as I know even LTA approved the Yoshi Street Legal Exhaust pipe, but it is still in the name of old owner. I was told by LTA Engineering officer that it is not necessary for me to get the exhaust certificate in my name. But I can get the Yoshi changed to my name by going to Hodaka?? not sure.

 

Yeah I went alone to hunt for a pillion rider.... keke. Just routine check by the police is it?? I thought I will be stripped down to my undies.

oh ya, it actually follow the bike, not under the name. Unless the owner sell the exhaust to other party, then it need to be transfer under the other party's name.

 

 

Wa if that the case, if you managed to find a female pillion, then it must be an unlucky day for her. haha!!!
