I didn't ask much.. I got online quotation only.. either Braking or Galfer have them.. calipers; frm what I know..dun come cheap.. 1K does not include shipping. Brembos will cost even more, not forgetting the fact that, to maximise ur brembo calipers, u'll need those brake pads the lads from brembo manufactures as well. once again.. CA$H is the word.. :giddy:

Dun put ur old bike down.. mine is just as old also.. for your info and the other babyblades, if u're keen on the real authentic windscreen. Can get it frm overseas.. MO might save some money on shipping.. MRA has it.. another brand frm UK also has it for Fireblades. and who said MRA has forgotten us.. it was produced during the Max Biaggi 250s Era... likewise U might wan to try Hodaka Motoworld.. they might just have it.

i was seriously into getting a shatterproof & a optically correct one like mra back when i juz got my cbr...tried the whole sillypore but still couldn't find. been motoworld as well.. they dun carry it too..

seriously, a bubble from mra is already quite ex compared to the ones from lab, overseas MO make it even more ridiculously ex.

anyway, juz how many of u guys here 'pi chia' & need tat optically correct function?? juz get a cheap one from lab & spilt the 2T tube over the lining & it ll look juz as nice

abt 1K for a pair of full floating discs. Use with original calipers lo. Unless u got serious cash to burn..

ok am i correct to say that just pair of aftermarket full floating disc = $500*2 ??

if money no problem it would be best to use with aftermarket callipers ??

whats the tp or rd block gonna say about the mod for aftermarket disc and

callipers ??

last but not least how much is the 2 original front disc for compare to the 1k

aftermarket one??

regarding the price, yup, its ard $500/rotor.. for bikes tat uses only 1 front rotor, i doubt there's a need to actually get such high ended ones.

yep, brembo r renowned for their brake systems, if u have the spare cash, by all means.

dun think there is any prob with getting aft market rotors.

original ones should be in the region of ard $800 for a pair.. rear rotor already cost me $180.

LAB's bubble see liao :sian:

i m using the one tat u depicted as :sian: bubble.. cost me 20 odd

original windscreen does not comes in the double bubble version...

as for MRA, i haven seen one for cbr400 in sg yet but if u r really keen, u could jolly paid for the freight over.

errr, my science not tat gd but i ll try to explain.

plastic, like many transparent stuffs, even water has a refractive index. which will actually cause u to see things out of place or slightly distorted. mra claims to have engineered their windscreen in a way where it eliminates this prob.

this is very impt for lacer wannabes going for precision!!!

IMO, tried looking thru one on my fren's bike.. dun really see much diff.

since the oem and aftermarket diff only $200 bucks must as well get the

aftermarket :thumb:

2 choices i see from here splash cash on aftermarket and keep the oem or finish

the oem then source the aftermarket disc

callipers and pump dont think so not for my standards yet :help:

lookin at aftermarket due to better performance with full floatin capabilities and

nice outlook ( wave design ) :lovestruck:

based on similar experiences when me & my fren lowsided some time back... he was using MRA & i using cheapo ones from LAB.

mine shattered while my fren's had only a 4-5In crack... amazing though, by its quality.. but end of the day, we still need to get it replaced.. makes no diff to me.

though bubble is easily dismantled, it takes some time & patience.. not for the faint hearted theives.

I checked already, a MRA costs more or less as any other makes of bikes.. 120 to 150+ SGD range. My advise is still the same, unless u intend to ride ur 400 all the way, no point changing every parts u can set ur sights on. Waste of cash. I've seen a blade doing 1.55 at PG without those 1K rotors..

EBC HH eats rotors ? ok la.. not really ma

Hide behind a MRA windshield and one frm LAB and u'll see a big diff.

Why spend so much on a bike that has to roam the streets with u everyda, then everytime u park ur bike.. U'll have to worry abt ppl having evil thoughts abt ur bike.
