:) so no need to change the drum brake pads? ahah. it doesn't seem to have any stopping power. BTW just to check, our gilera's fuel tank is only 9 liters? oh yah, i'm also looking for the small windshield, mine is currently the tall one, anyone selling theirs? :)

 

oh, if it doesnt have any stopping power then change it brudder.. :)

when i changed mine, after about a month, it loses its braking power, so i had to tighten it again..

 

for FXR owners (the drum brakes), the fuel tank can hold 9L with 1.5 as a reserve.. so the no-fuel-light should start to blink once its about 7.5L..

i was thinking of doing the chassis something like this.. not the whole thing though, maybe just the exterior..

oh yah, my rear drum brakes are making squeeking noises, what is causing this? really irritating. and when i corner to the left side, it seems like i'm scraping some metal, how can this be? side stand loose?

 

Bout the brake,meyb u hv to change yr brake shoe.n scraping metal during coner,mayb cause of yr loose stand.....

DNM suspension?nvr heard of it b4.but if can fit in,u can try then.but remember bro,the top part is a screw type n not like normal bike suspension.

i just got my steering cone tightened & mianstand fixed at botak's shop, my gilera side stand put already like anytime will topple, very unstable. i just changed to bitubo at botak's shop, but its 2nd hand. now it handles much better. brand new ones are the stock ones already $350? how much are brand new bitubo ones? oh yah btw, thanks for the information about the suspension covers. :)

Original shocks should be cheaper then $350

BCD air scoops are for 98 to late 05 model bikes.

 

06 does not have BCD air scoops.

Most scooter accessory shop will sell. It started way back when we first used gecko skins for mountain bike frames. The idea caught on and the shops made it into a product for sale. :)

 

BUt then, looks nice, not sure what the water trapped in the sponge will do to your suspension spring.
