Can I start a thread on airfare promos? I think it'll be quite helpful to people who are planning to travel cheap.

 

I think recently alot of airfare promotions to Australia.

(until 5pm Monday 20 April 2009 or until sold out....)

I received an email from Qantas, to fly to perth from $536...

to Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney - $748

 

Then there's this walkabout ad by SIA. Economy Class Special Offers:

(Sale period 24 Apr 2009-8 May 2009, fly by 2 May 2009 - 30 Jun 2009)

Singapore - Perth SGD568*

Singapore - Brisbane SGD798*

Singapore - Sydney SGD798*

 

And I think Emirates also offering cheap airfares to Australia for the mth of April @ less than $500!

Emirates offering air tixs to Brisbane and Melbourne for SG$423 return inclusive of taxes. Book by end of may depart by end of June 2009.

 

Same goes to major europe destinations only avg SG$800 all in.

I jus went to perth last month at $200 include tax and etc with jetstar,

 

i think jetstar got more promotion coming up...

The Emirates promotion is really attractive. Even gets you as far as Casablanca! I've not seen this kind of price for about 10 years.

Actually, I'm not sure about the full terms and conditions, I just posted the info here in brief. However, I think you may want to check out the website itself.

You may want to select your departure point and destination and simulate a booking, until you reach the page where it displays all costs (incl taxes and fuel surcharge) - it is the pg before you make payment.

 

I think from there, you would be able to know what is the total price.
