Lately i help a friend as she wanted to open a blog shop .but she don't have a credit card to make order.

 

Thus she seek my help to pay for her using my card and with the promise she will return me the $.

 

This was in early march and till now i don't see her returning me my $.i tried to contact her but to no avail .by sms she replied that she is bz in school matters thus canot call me.but i find it weird that she canot call me for a while to settle this matter.

 

now the card bill has balloon to $1k,with half the amount being paid by me already.As of 21 april, she still has yet to return me my $.

 

furthermore there was 2 transaction been made without my authority.thus i cancelled my card.I asked the credit card company to find out who made the order without my knowledge but they say cant help me on this.

 

She has replied that she do not know who made the transaction.

 

I am suspecting i have been cheated.despite continue questioning her on this she keeps saying she is too bz with her school work and she will check on tis.but i don't see any outcome from her.

 

I do not know if i should report this matter to the POLICE or not .But i also don't wish to blow this matter up by refer to police.I am collecting all the facts first before i proceed to refer this matter.

 

What else can i do ?

I suggest you TERMINATE the credit card or STOP any immediate transcation with immediate effect.

 

Pay up the balance to the CC company since it's not a large sum of amount. And don't ever allow someone else to use your card as a lesson.

 

The pooh_lice would not want to get interfere into your personal matter as they have more important things to do in the station such as reading stories, chit chat, nap or even drive out to get lunch/dinner and break.

Unauthorised use of credit card - suggest you make a police report. Banks will not investigate unless there's a police report.

TS, since there is an agreement between you and the other party, it is still binding even though it is verbal. It is obvious she has taken you for a ride. You can go to the small claims tribunal to seek redress, or if you feel that the amount is insignificant, take it as a lesson learnt. However, the unauthorized transaction is something which you should take seriously. Lodge a police report. The police will put down their story books, stop their chit-chat, wake up from their nap and forgo their dinner to help you lodge a report.

I bought a pair of Ducati Straight Jacket Sunglass for a guy in USA.

 

He has yet transferred in the money I put up to buy that sunglass.

 

Further more, he send me one email to tell me its too expensive, not his type and not his size.

 

I told him to send the glasses back to me and I will deal with it. If I dont get it changed, then I wont charge him, even for the mailing.

 

To date, I do not see the transaction of monies back into my account. Nor have I seen the sunglasses returned.

 

Its now April, and the glasses reached him in Feb.

Your friend may have bought more stuff again, using your previous records for payment.

 

Can you first check for the amount deducted and the date of payments?

 

Then use that information to write to the bank and the company to list it as questionable transaction.

 

Go to the police about it and at least lodge a statement to suggest that your credit card was abused and leave it at that.

 

Chances are, the bank can be put on alert about the abuse and be able to work with the company to pinpoint the location or the people that is abusing your credit card.

 

Its a extremely slim chance though. But then at least the girl will know she will be in trouble if she abuses your credit card again.

 

On trust. What happened has happened. Next time, dont allow people to use your credit card. Tell them to go get a debit master card. Or at least, make the girl show you cash before you do any transaction.

Make that first. And make sure you attach swee swee your credit card statement, and also your letter to the credit card company about the wrongful deductions which you are sure someone else authorised.

 

Write to the company that supplied the goods also, to inform them that your credit card has been abused. And you want the delivery address of the goods.

 

You paid for it, then go take back the goods. Make it known to her that if she dont pay up. You will attempt to intercept the goods and pass it to someone else that actually had shops to sell thsoe goods.

1) What is the amount of the two transactions that you did not authorise?

2) Where is the delivery address of these transactions?

3) You want to make police report or not. Because the more you drag it, the more chance that she can get away with threatening you because you never took any actions. Plenty of females that cries wolf after they took advantage of the guys. But instead of crying foul, lots of people is here trying to tell you to protect yourself against such sneaky females already. Auntie here once had problems with my own bank a/c and cannot utlise its debit function.

 

And I needed a air ticket to Thailand.

 

So instead, I date a friend out, order the ticket online, used his credit card, and when transaction went thru. I gave the guy the cash plus some loose change and buy him a Frappacino.

 

If yours was same situation, you already has the address for the goods delivery address. And it sounds like they are delivered. So if you not happy, ask to go her delivery place to take stock of the items and cart them back home to your place. She still wants them, she has to pay you.

 

If she already sold off the things, then LL suck thumb lah. But suck thumb also must protect yourself mah.

1) Make a case of out it ... no need big big but get back what u rightfully deserves. If ur company ask. just reply got unauthorised transaction and could be due to a trust being beached by a friend who hapen to see ur CC info. No need talk so much to the gal.
