sia lah i think i've messed up my signal lights liao lol.

In this DIY session i've succeeded in installing disco hazard lights(blinks to the beat of techno music), and messing up my signal lights.

While travelling on the road, my signal lights blinks so fast that it doesn't even looks to be blinking, just lighted up. Only when i slowed down my bike den u can see the blink.

(am i cursed coz of my nick? )

Thinking of bringing it to Dr Koon to have a look. :sian:

i got e same issue.. when heading home.. i was testing it thru out e way. lol~

first time flash like lightning.. then i off n on off n on then okay.. but if i stop and i on again.. same thing.. lightning or dun even flash.

today i went ah boy go buy new condensor..

so far so good. :)

Thanks to Ivy and Andy for organising this session and getting the materials!

Thanks to the guy (sorry I didn't get your name) who helped me a lot with my hazard lights and horns! :cheer:

It was scary riding without the rear light (cos it fused) though... :giddy:

remember to replace the spare fuse that i used to install for the horn.

practise to use the horn, the way to tap for different meaning in horning/warning.

remember to check the screws fir the horns after a few whether is loose or not .... i trust my skill... but is not my bike ...

you may had ride for months/years without rear lights ... so no worry.

CHeers..

Oh yes, thanks for the reminder to get the fuse!

Got the rear lights replaced today, so it's all good now!

I've used the horn to give warning today, and I got knocked down by a taxi despite the warning horn. :giddy: Good thing I escaped unscathed, and now my friend is asking why I didn't claim against the driver.

is your switch is short circuit, re-tape can liao. make sure the connectors metal parts dont touch each other when taping it.

think the rest got no problems .. :cheeky:

CHeers..

Thx for your advice.

Today at koon, i've checked all my wirings and connectors, retaped them all, but the problem still there.

Den ah koon let me test out a new condenser, guess wat, it works! Its my condenser that's causing the problem after all. Is mine faulty or just incompatitble? Sigh... another 8 bucks down the drain for it. But glad everything's working ok now. :cheeky:

My right mirror got scratched and misaligned, that's all I noticed... I doubt the taxi is damaged at all. Didn't think that there's a need to claim for damages so didn't take down particulars even.. Too shocked... Maybe I should claim for my traumatic stress afterall. :giddy:

err.... anyone know what is the rating where you guys fixed it :sorry: :sorry:

The one Andy bought for us?

It says on the box:

12V

10W x 2 + 1.7W

Actually the new one i bought at koon is also 10W x 2 + 1.7W, printed on the condensor itself. But dunno y Andy's one doesn't work for me.

Hi,

when hazard is switch on, both front and rear signal light is suppose to blink.

what about without switching on hazard light, will signal light blink?

check your condenser.

he's talking about the signal indicator light on the triple clamp.

Hazard lights are normally not wired to the indicator

then if wanna to wired to the indicator how?
