last time the bbdc instructor told us before that listening to music (using earpiece) is an offence. but if u only use 1 side then its not an offence. becos by listening to music u will get distracted and its dangerous. even 1 hand riding is oso an offence -_- LOL.

quote from my friend.

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?

There is no legislation in Singapore expressly prohibiting the use of earphones while riding a motorcycle.

I would be very interested to know under which Act or legislation your friend was fined under.

When i gotten into an accident self skidded, i was listening to music when a patrol car stopped by help. The officer told me that i'm not supposed to listen music when riding. The lucky thing is, he nv fined or charged me but let me go.. lucky.. Another lucky thing is that my fren's father drove past with my fren and send me to clinic.. Imagine i go to clinic in the patrol car.. I wonder how many points they will give me.

So what about intercom devices? the one whereby rider gets to interact with it's pillion using some like the walkie talkie.. most tourer use this..

There's no law prohibiting this. Don't know why some think it's a distraction. If that is the case then might as well ban talking to pillion, or ban cars from their audio system etc. For myself, blocking the wind noise helps me concentrate even more on the road.

One hand hold handlebar illegal? Wah! First time i hear. If one hand hold handlebar, the other hand reliek on tank legal? I didn't know riding with one hand illegal.

I've asked TP before, they cant bk you for having a earpiece or earphones in your ear while riding. But they could park it under other offences like MAYB careless riding etc...

It depends on hw u tok to the TP. There r 1001 reasons to bk u...u giv them 1002 reason to rebuke them...haha...

Anyway I gt stop because I didnt turn on my headlight...then he saw my earpiece. Reason with him..he let me go...then i ask him whether issit allowed to use earpiece...he only says there isnt any writings saying riders cant...so...its up to u..

When riding, you should really be concentrating on the road.. That includes both, eyes and ears.

Ever jumped up when your phone rang unexpectedly? Now imagine that when you are on the road, in heavy traffic..

As far as I know, there are no legal regulations on how to hold the handlebars, but the common sense.

You need both hands to control your bike, but it is still OK to make adjustments to, let's say, your visor or a jacket when riding and when it is safe to do so.

Ride safe.
