how about using silicon glue to seal the gaps & crevices between the voltmeter 's front panel & body? Also seal the cable entry point etc etc. That's what they normally do in outdoor lightings & stuffs.

Bought a rectangular voltmeter from one of the car accessory shops in Sunshine Plaza. Comes with those cigarette lighter plug. Simple 3 LED voltmeter. Comes with a stand too.

 

Cost me $22. DIY installation. Just tapped it to my pilot light.

 

Not branded tho. Made in China. But it serves it purpose.

hey i got my battery monitor fixed today at bike n scooter.wahaha..quite easy to diy lar.cost below 40 excluding installation.works rather simply. now his shop onli left two of the batt monitor le.next batch coming in next week according to the mech cum owner. any questions bout it can pm me.

The price was $50, not include installation, problem is to made the bracket.

It did gone through heavy rain & water drip inside the unit & cause error, but after dry out it working normal. This multi meter did not control any fan or any device on your bike, it just show reading only. It can read up to max 70 deg C.

This voltmeter is extremely fragile.

First set I bought, newly opened from package, LED backlight and beeper is not working. Got it 1 to 1 exchange.

After a few times usage over a few months (without getting it wet), the LED backlight and beeper is not working again. :sian:

I suspect the wire at soldering point break off, try open up the cover & have a check.

I did and every wire is still attached to the PCB.

LCD readout is still there, only the lights and sound are out.

yoyo..i bought loh.think got new shipment come le.PM me too if u're going down together.i installed my voltmeter there.can tell u that it is waterproof lor.went thru rain and a session of bike washing.still working well!!can choose to diy or let him fix.but think mabbe will charge.is juz tap ur headlight wires.easy and safe. :thumb:
