If you mount your camera under the area of low pressure under the windshield, there will be lovely engine noise and little wind blast. That or improvise a little windshield on the camera mic to deflect air around the microphone port. Little bit of rubber should do the trick.

The windshield works! Pity the number plate is blocking the view otherwise you will get a nice "gun camera" type perspective. Pulsar sounds very smooth and quiet

 

Another tip is to -not- use audio from the exposed camera mount but put a old handphone in your pocket. My Nokia E63's sound pickup is good at picking up engine sounds (very bassy). Overlay the sound on your finished video; of course this method needs some sync work but it's easy when both devices start recording at once.

yah...

the number plate is blocking the the view of the road

also through the windshield the view is not as good as compared to being mounted on the hadlebar brace...

i am trying to find a best solution for it now

good view + reduced wind noise...

i use 3m tape to secure my phone on my IU to use as gps. you can get the one @blackant has. very small size and clear. MO TIME!

Mine is the old version 2010 XC Micro, which is SD.

it's a good cam for it's price. Plus it is very tough.

 

Cons would be not much option to mount it except the helmet.
