Filming my ride

Where are you going to mount the camera?

 

I tired on the front and on the tank, both looks good but I prefer the front so I can capture any incident on the road clearly. But on the tank, it looks nicer as it shows a bike in it.

 

i using a mount similar to ram mount with the gopro tripod adaptor...

problem is hard to aim...

but...

just recieved a notification that my lcd bacpac has been delivered to my place...

time to play with it 2ml..also for info,you can only attach either the batt bacpac or lcd bacpac...cannot attach both at the same time...

Hmm then no worth to get both. Think the bacpac is more useful.

thats y when i decided to buy again after the refund to amazon, i did not get the batt bacpac...

only the lcd bacpac...

since i have the cigg lighter socket installed

i can charge and record non-stop with the skeleton housing...

currently using the skeleton casing which is the non waterproof one...

can plug in cable to charge anytime...

with this can reduce the chance of lens fogging which might happen with the waterproof casing...

the day video is with the skeleton housing which is why the wind noise is higher...

the night video is using the waterproof housing only the back cover is the non-waterproof one...

Came across this bad lady driver just now along Yio Chu Kang Road. She just dash out of the petrol kiosk and cross the street even when she saw me coming along the road. Either she over-estimate her driving skill or she expect me to slow down and give way to her because I would be at the losing end if I bang into her...what an idiot.

Ride safe to ride another day everyone, you'll never know who you're going to meet on the road.

p.s in the video the vehicle appears further away than in the real life due to the wide angle lens of gopro hd hero.

almost hit the rear of a taxi...

was turning right behind taxi at the junction at senja lrt...

then got a passenger by the road flag the taxi...

the taxi slowed down so i thought he wanted to pick her up...

but he did not stop and just continue to drive forward...

all his actions shows he wants to go straight towards bt panjang plaza...

as i was going to turn left to head towards bke,i positioned so i will go into the left turn slip road...

just at this moment the taxi driver swerved to the left into the slip road right into my path without warning or hazard lights...

had to jam brake and i gave him a super long horn...

i think he saw bt panjang plaza like nobody to pick up and decided to pick up the passenger that flagged earlier...stupid and dangerous driver spoil my morning...

did not catch it on video as i as driving and my family car don't have recorder...

caught on video 2 dangerous drivers from yesterday...

will post after i trim the clip...

I met a nice cyclist who gave me a thumb up when I give way to him. This really makes my day, just a simple gesture and I am sure it can makes the road a better place to travel on.

Is it waterproof? Some camera are built for cars and not motorcycle.

best to get waterproof ones

cause we are exposed to the elements...

not like cars have a roof over our head...
