True. Could hardly even see the number plates. The quality is like those CCTV in supermarkets otherwise great cam. :cool:

the current video is by default settings though~.. yet to config to HD P720~... as i still trying to finger out how it was set~.. lolx~.. (all in Chinese~.. takes a while to understand)

Woot. By far e most exp even for car 4 way. :/

 

Taiwan selling at NT$19,000 which is near SGD$860~..

but i got it around SGD$780 (including flight charges fr a help of a friend)

Yesterday follow my frenz went to sim Lim SQ to purchase 4 way camera for his car, With installation SGD$1788~! :sian::dozed::giddy:

Keychain is buy from ebay. E $150 i eyeing rd32ii from dealextreme. I'm buying e accesories pack also thus E price. For more info google tachnoman rd32ii.

 

Oh that model, seen the review video of it. A dude took it for diving.

Handlebar mount. Suction cup mount on tank, side of tank or anywhere with e metal smooth surface. Helmet mount or anywhere tat u can tie down. If u ve a box u can even velcro to ur bow and point backwards. Or u can velcro to under ur front headlight. Think out of e box. 1st aug coming soon. ^^ time to order.

I read through the last 7-8 pages of this thread.. man, you guys have really been doing some in depth research!

 

I would like to film my ride as well, mainly for 'insurance' purposes but also for when I have a particularly enjoyable ride and want to keep it as a memory.

 

My main concerns are these:

 

Bike mount:

- likelihood of camera being stolen

- limited field of visibility (can't aim it at errant drivers)

- where to mount to get a clear view (my bike has a half fairing and a tinted screen)

 

Helmet mount:

- likelihood of damage in accident (perhaps destroying vital evidence)

- likelihood of damage while carrying around the helmet

- looks funny, affects aerodynamics

 

Size, weight, price and quality are of course important factors in either case.

 

Apart from the models discussed here, I also saw the website for BlackVue DR400G full HD (1080P), which looks quite interesting, though a little pricey.
