GsxR1000 K3 Problem.

Hi to all fellow G1 K3 riders.Any one face the following problems as below? Can kindly advise me what went wrong?

 

1) Idling will drop by itself after riding for sometimes...Manage to adjust it back to 1200 RPM but after riding sometimes it will drop to below 1000RPM by itself.

 

2) Auto choke not working.

 

3)when engine is hot ...may be from 80plus onward, a metal knocking sound will be produce somewhere near the clutch housing area...but i have already change clutch housing...still the same...been searching for the fault for 6mths liao .....

 

i wondering whether is it the Con Rod problem or Gear box problem?

1) Could be due to the build up of carbon..Which means it's time to clear carbon..

 

2)I have friends who have their auto choke back working again after they send the bike for a throttle body service..

 

3) Cant help u on this...

Thanks for the advise. By the way what is the cost to send in throttle body for service?

my k2 is havin the same problem like u...for the idling, i can cfm is ur tuning already gone liao..have to set for retunein again

Easily from around $40 to $200..

 

From what i understand, Guan Hoe only wash the throttle body but nv replace the shims or any another adjustment...

 

If you want a detail one, Bikelab does it at $200+ if i nv remember wrongly..Guess you need to call and check the price..
