well perhaps u could join e scooby forum n fr the For Sale section u might be able to get some contact to private owners letting off of their car n at such u deal wif the owner directly instead of going thru another 3rd party (IMO). well like Tyrian commented u are warn FC kills so does insurance kills

But frankly speaking, if want to drive sports car then don't take FC in consideration.

[(purchase price + all attributable cost + future cost of removal) - residual value] / useful life

 

monthly repayment is not 4715/12

 

monthly repayment = [selling price of car + finance cost] / repayment terms

 

for example:

 

Dealer sell u one car = $10,000 (ok, lets assume a chery QQ)

finance cost 10% P.A

repayment terms = 5 years (60 months)

 

Monthly repayment = [$10,000 + (10%x10000x5)] / 60 = 250 per mth

 

here comes depreciation

 

cost of car = $10,000

scrap value $1,000

useful life = 10 years

 

Depreciation = (10000-10000)/10 = $900/year

 

Conclusion: Depreciation has nothing to do with monthly repayment. It is used to calculate the carrying value of the asset.
