Hi, I'm changing my bike after 6yrs and am wondering what to get. As I now only use my bike for transport, want to get a auto bike. Was looking for a gilera runner and found one, but during my seach I happened to come across another bike from Taiwan called PGO. According to salesman, its handling and performance same as gilera but better FC, petrol cap won't let water in and cheaper to service. My biggest worry abt gilera is its high cost of servicing, So would like to ask what needs to be service for a gilera and how often. I read that normal service $50 full service $200. Anyone kind enough to share what is being serviced for that price. Also, are there specialise motor shops that service gilera cheaper or better since itallian bike parts are harder to find. I'm looking to ride this bike for long term, at least 3 yrs, is it advisble since most motorshop keep telling me how expensive it is to maintain gilera. Lastly, Anyone riding a PGO care to share his coments on the bike in terms of perfornace and matainence, what the salesman say sound gd, but how true I dunno, plus it cost almost the same as gilera so its not cheap also. Any info would be helpful thks.

Pgo parts are cheaper than GIlera parts. In general. One is taiwanese, other is Italian.

Fuel consumption wise is pretty depening on individual. Ride like a drag racer. No bike in this world will have a good FC. I would say the PGO 200 and runner 200 FC is similar. You want good FC, u have to get the older 150cc pgo models. lesser power but beter FC. the 150cc Gmax can do a best 38km/l (for ah pek style of riding). normal riding, u can get 30~32km/l.

Another Plus point to look at PGO is that PGO is aircooled, gilera is water cooled. Air cooled, u have lesser radiator problems to worry about.
