yeah do that..reducing one notch ...may solve ur chain rubbing the guide all the time..

but reducing 1 notch..the suspension will bear loads better and in fact this is a method to overcome bottoming of suspension when u have a heavy load or worn suspension spring..

with this at the expense of a softer ride..end up with a harsher ride but the benefit is that u can take corners faster...IMHO

same problem as me. Mine died 3 times before i sent it to the workshop. After that the mechanic told me i went too fast as i was crusing on TPE @ 130km/hr then the bike died. Then he opened my piston and stuff and realised my piston was out of place and therefore i had to change it plus the two clam thingy. chor @_@

now my bike cannot even go past 110 once i go past 110 i feel that the entire bike is dying and the speed will drop

i've been advised by doctor chong not to go above 90..or i'll be back for a overhaul soon....and the eeee sound is from the piston.. but he said noting to worry about though ..bike has been feeling sluggish this few days..hmm...maybe it's the weather..and that rubber does not belong in the front sprocket cover..it probably got dislodged from somewhere and got stuck in the **** in there..

yay! everything solved...except for trying not to go above 90 :(

wa. how much did u pay for the repair?

Btw, around agar agar at what speed do u all change gears? Cause for 5th and 6th gear, i change around 80km/h and 90km/h respectively, and i feel that when i release the clutch at that speed right, the bike got no power, or rather like got a little bit of engine break. issit normal?

Thanks Bro Mepkoh and Snapei! Now think of that, no wonder when i am pillioning my gf the sound seems to disappear.

But, I try to look for pin spanner from the hardware stores around my neighbourhood area, no shop seems to sell them, i even called LAB, they are not selling it either, I lived in Tampines, any idea where can I buy pin spanner?

that means you changed gears a little late... try changing earlier and see if the ride would be smoother...

SUSPENSION

Each shock absorber (1) has 5 adjustment positions for different load or riding conditions.

Use a pin spanner (2) to adjust 'the' rear shocks.

Position 1 and 2 is for light loads and smooth road conditions. Positions 4 to 5 increase spring preload for a stiffer rear suspension, and can be used when the motorcycle is heavily loaded. Be certain to adjust both shock absorbers to the same position.

Standard position : 3

Refer to page 8 for a clearer explanation and diagram..

i think it's ok to paste the sticker anywhere as long as it's visible from the front.. and another from the back..i pasted mine on the front mudguard..and the other screwed together with my rear number plate
