Yamaha Xt250x

As I did not know where to post I did post it on two place ..

 

I am new here, I live in Thailand and just bought a Yamaha XT250x from 2006. Great bike, much better as the TW225e I had for a few weeks.

 

The only problem with bigger bikes in Thailand is that they are officially not imported here so there are no spare-parts. Everything has to be orderd.

 

The bike has 17inch wheels front & rear and now it has IRC Road Winner RX tires on it. I would like to replace them by more off-road tires like Michelin Anakee or Sirac, but it seems that they do not sell 17inch front tires of Anakee or Sirac.

 

As the XT250x is sold in Singapore I would think there should be choice in tires in Singapore, right?

 

So has anyone a recommendation on the replacement of my tires?

 

As I come in Singapore sometimes it would be no problem to buy new tires in Singapore (or Hong Kong where it eems that the Xt250x and XG250 are also sold).

 

I also would like to replace the weird high front fender, maybe replace it with the normal fender of a XG250 (Tricker)? Anyone knows if that would fit?
