Hi!

is there anyone who is selling their Honda Rebel 125? in good condition please. thanks.

can i get a rough idea on what is a reasonable price to pay for this bike.

as a first time buyer - what should i be looking out for in 2nd hand bikes?

can anyone also recommend similar type of bike as Rebel - classic style cruiser, small and low - that is sold in Singapore.

lastly, where i can go to look at 2nd hand cruiser type bikes. (i know of the bike shops in Alexander Road - but have not seen any there - except phantoms and Enfields - which are beautiful but too large n heavy for me.)

thanks very much!:p

Last time I went there's one 2ndhand at this mechanic's shop

10 AMK Ind Park 2A #05-11 AMK Autopoint (64846033 call first)

Cruisers cost a bit more 'cos the range for 2B is very limited but my advice is just go back to the mechanic for any problem

Next is to remember repairs don't come cheap - so manage your expectations well, you can't buy a 2ndhand bike and expect new bike performance - funny sounds, rattling noises, but can move along at a reasonable speed and most importantly don't die on the road lah

Same as for cars, better trust your mechanic - if you can't trust him, better don't buy from him. This guy's ok - remember expensive may mean he collects his entire profit from one trip, cheap may mean he needs you to make two trips hor

Many a time, intermittent faults mean the mechanic has to make a deduction or wait for the fault to reappear. If he is honest he'll tell you this and risk losing you as a customer. Some just change every damn thing for you rather than risk losing your business. Can't blame them though. Cheap, fast and good - you can only choose two :-) good luck and happy hunting
