Rust Spots from front forks

How do i... or... can i get rid of the rust spots from my bike's front forks?? I tried cleaning a small part of it with a general-purpose cleaner, and got rid most of the rust... but there's still tiny small holes left on the chrome part of the forks. Is there any product out there i could use or anyway to get it polished or something?? (Note: Bike has been off road for a few years.)

you will have to replace the tube or send it for hard chrome locally. ask bike shops like bikelab for details.
