Hello every one.

Own a Piaggio X9 125 Evo and had recently removed my top end off my X9 125 s it was nackerd, and only one i could find was a Piaggio x9 200 Evo top end part of the engine.

So poped that on so i still have a usrble bike.

Now the piston snaped and vavles and all sorts so hvaing to have a rebuld, it used to over heat too.

What els should i have added along with this kit once i get it back on the road. at the mo, Iam having the Piaggio x9 125 Gear up kit put in to stop it over reving.

Can any one help here ?

To Kenny of Future Scootering,

I don’t know what magic you did but my X9/200 feels so light, smooth and very responsive after the servicing this morning.

I remembered you told due to my bike always parked for too long, you recommend me to flush engine oil, flush coolant, replace filter, spark plug & add in petrol additive. And I requested you to put in the best engine oil & best spark plug.

When the bill came, I admit I was little surprised but happy to see the total billed cost only less than $130.00 – and the best of it all, the labor charge is FOC.

Thank you for a good job done and reasonable pricing, please keep up!

* Alex & Francis - nice meeting you today, next time kopi on me..

This is a good example of different experience from different customers.

The forum can be a good tool to get information and the reputation (good or bad) of every bike shop, but please do not take advice here word for word. There is always 2 side to a story.

You guys are funny...

As for me, Kenny is probably the only person in Singapore that makes our Piaggio X9 ever so popular.

Some of you who know or have met me during our touring trip to Genting; I only rode the R6 for 3 months……:p

I still remembered reading all the X9 threads that he shared unselfishly with everyone here in this forum several times before changing my R6 to X9. He knows our X9 inside out better than the agent. Many of us also learnt to stripped our X9, DIY alarm, horn & Volt meter installation from him.

Kenny (during his singlehood days), he will go all the way out to help anyone especially those riding X9 (24/7) even when the person’s bike broke down in Malaysia. He is definitely my man…….and should I change my ride again one day, I will not hesitate to send my bike to him for servicing. :thumb:

Hi Zero,

May I ask you 2 question regarding x9.

a) How do you change the mileage on x9 digital display from displaying Miles to Kilometer?

b) Where is future scootering?

Thanks you for help in advance. I'm a new proud x9 owner.

Hi Gulliver,

I didn't know we can change the display from Miles to KMs. Maybe you can give Kenny a call. Mine was already in KM since day 1 (2004).

I can clock about 400++ to near 500 a tank....

The best i can reach is about 33/L.

It really depend on you ride... If you ride like you steal it, the most give you 22-23/L.

I launch slowly, maintain @ 5-5.5k.

Spend some $$ go flush the coolant system. **Some ppl do this every year or 2.

Then add those pre-mixed type coolant. Buy a spare bottle for future top up.

Never tap water.
