Hi to all scoot lovers,

There seems to be more and more scoot brands and models available here in Singapore, and I am interested to get one for transport

I prefer those Taiwan scoots with flat front footrest so that I can place my computer case or other large barang barang there

May I know what are the brands available and their respective showrooms?

So far I am only aware of the following brands

1. Yamaha.. Hong Leong... (but I didn't see any eye-catching scoot there)

2. PGO.. Hiap Aik... (was told the X-Hot will be in end of this month)

How about SYM/Kymco? What are the models available right now? and where are the showrooms?

Thanks :D

PS: Forgot to add something... I am not interested in those big scoots such as the X9 or similar designs... I am only looking for a small cc scoot in the range of 125-200... :D

Why not try the B-Bone?

I wanted to, for its unique look

But the FC is slightly higher than if not similar to my current ride (my little 250 tard can hit 26-27KM/L when throttle happy... I heard the stock B-Bone is barely around that range), and there's no/minimum underseat storage space (at least one helmet)

If only the FC is better (in the high 30 range), I might just neglect the storage space underseat because I really like the styling

Bro, a bit mislead hor.. Parang is to cut or chop things. not for violence.

LOL..

Hmm.. I'm riding b-bone now. Not whack it everyday. Cruise speed 70-90kmh. My Fuel can last me few days. In my calculation, i mostly pump 6.0-6.4l and it can make me go for 200-220km ++. So u calculate lo. at least 31km/l.

If whack, still slightly more than ur tard lo. But speed is not important for u, it's a very comfort n stylo bike.

regarding to the storage, yes, cant keep a helmet. But i can keep

one pair of slipper

one set of rainsuit

bike cover

waterproof bag to keep my thing when rain

few clothes to clean my bike after rain

a spider web to hold my thing in front

a pair of hand glove

n i think still can keep some small stuff.

For storage bike which can keep a helmet inside, what else u can keep if u have already put a helmet in? right? Dun compare x9 or SYM la.. They all big big type. I think that's enough for me. Then u may consider to put a rear box behind to create a vintage look. can put 2 helmets summore. in front of the bike dun say put ur barang2 or laptop. Desktop u also can put. haha.. i ever put 2 helmet infront.

I really enjoy riding b-bone. LOL.. Not promoting here la.. just my opinion.. Cheers..

I appreciate your review on the B-Bone... I dropped by the B-Bone board before and I've heard about your experience (in fuel consumption that is)... and believe me, I read through every single post in that thread because I love the B-Bone style

With the list of things that you have, I believe that's about what the B-Bone (without extra boxes) could carry... However, if I can leave the helmet in the bike, it will be a bigger plus.... But, like I said before, if the FC is in the high 30 range, I can live with the lack of storage space... :D

As for the FC, I am aware that you mentioned in the B-Bone thread that the mech did something to your fuel line to get better consumption, right? However, with the collected data, the general B-Bone range on 6L petrol is still about 160KM, which works out to be about 27KM/L... (I will try not to modify my transport bike, and therefore I will look at my data based on a collection of reviews :D)

Yes speed is not important here, I want convenience with style :D :D :D

Hmm.. Mech didnt do anything to my fuel line. I just changed my fuel octane from 98 to 95. Cheaper n go more.. haha.. Ya, if can put a box to keep helmets, it's really good whenever u want to pillion. If not u have to bring ur helmet everywhere unless u dun mind to lock it at ur bike. In general in thread, 160km reached n reserve light on. but inside still have 2 litres petrol. So 160km only used around 5-5.5l, so it's around 30kml also. But now i din count my fuel also. Can last me around there i happy d.

N lastly hor, dun compare b-bone in forum, mostly r not stock. All got yoshi n rosso exhaust pipe. The way they ride is differ from me. haha.. They all power rider. lol..

U wont regret to buy this if u not a speed rider. The way people look at this stylo toy, one reaction only. 'Wow.. What bike is this?'

hahahaha...
