LightTech Sliders

Thick delrin material with velcro, anyone interested to get? $45 a pair, so far hardly a pair for such price....I will be getting a couple of them to stock up. Could get for you guys if you all interested.

I believe there's 4 color options :White, Black, Red and Blue. This is even cheaper than the Dainese MO I did couple of months ago with flowers!!! :lovestruck:

hi guys, just wanna enquire...

1)what kinda solution and brand do you guys recommend for maintaining the suit?

2)these solutions are leather softeners or cleaners? or are they 2-in-1?

could anyone provide directions on maintaining a suit to keep it soft and in good condition?

Hey guys, I just collected my race suit from BG Performance in Hong Kong. I must say that their service is more than excellent. The owner, Steven, also the manager of the BG racing team in Hong Kong / China, talked to me personally and even treated me to lunch. I also chatted with various people from the team and gained very valuable insight regarding track riding. I have never seen such good customer service. :thumb:

In case you don't know, BG sells Berik / Arlen Ness. There were also other forumers who have dealt with the company. I remember one dude (read the earlier pages of this thread) ordered a suit from BG and it was sent to him (from HK to SG) in a couple of days. He tried it on and it didn't fit. Guess what, he returned it without having to pay a cent for shipping. That's unheard of previously.

Oh :btw: they are having a 25% off storewide sale till the end of the year. Go check it out at http://www.bg-performance.com. They accept email orders and charge by Telegraphic Transfer. That's how I ordered. I paid half by TT and paid the other half when I collected personally today.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT. I am merely sharing my very good experience.

To add to my wordy review... Here are some additional plus points about their customer service...

1) Got 25% off even though I ordered my suit before the promotion.

2) They sold my reserved mesh liner by mistake and got another one shipped from Zhuhai overnight for me.

3) Free spare knee sliders.

4) Incredible hospitality!

Now to the suit itself...

1) VERY form-fitting! I mean super body-hugging with the back protector on.

2) Lightweight kangaroo leather reinforced with cowhide at vulnerable areas.

3) Titanium protectors look super-trick.

4) Well-made leather, perforation and stretch panels.

5) Full set of CE armor including hip armor (not present in my previous Joe Rocket Speedmaster).

6) Very smooth nylon knee sliders with inset logo that won't wear off.

7) Comes with heavy-duty hanger and suit cover. Reminds me of high-end business suits.

8) VERY RARE! For $9600 HKD before discount, it's a superb deal.

As you can see, it is so snug that I cannot stand straight. On the left (wearing black) is one of the BG mechanic, John. On the right (wearing red) is the BG team founder and owner Mr Steven Tsui.

Sorry if I am spamming. I am just too excited after getting my new suit after waiting for months and travelling across the Pacific. :cheeky:

Was recommended to just use johnson baby oil,and put it inside a plastic bag for the leather to stay soft.

I am back liao! I bought a Arlen Ness LS1-3339K, basically the GP replica suit. Kangaroo leather with titanium protectors. USD1250.

We can go charn course after xmas. I need to fix up my bike this two days. And wait for the stupid rain clouds to go away.

BTW I am still working with Steven (BG owner) and Andy (SBF owner) regarding this Arlen Ness deal. So if anyone PMs me about getting the suits now, he will get a "wait till details are finalized" reply. I cannot sell without both Steven and Andy's permission.

Both suits are equally good. 300-400 for helmet--Lazer. Fits well. quiet and value for money. Go to JR Pte Ltd (One of the advertisers on the forum).

Both RS Taichi and Nankai are decent. RS Taichi can be bought from Motoworld. Nankai is carried by Regina. For $300-$400 you can get a very decent helmet by Nolan from Chong Aik. (As an alternative to 5thRider's suggestion.)

ya really can't find a titanium kangeroo suit at tat price.

spidi is selling their kangoo suit at 2000+ and dainese their titanium cow hide suit at 3000+.

i was the one who had a first hand experience with their first class customer service. jus too bad i dun have the chance to deal with them as the suit doesn't fit me. if not i'll really be more than happy to let them make money from me.

i'll go over to hong kong and get the suit myself personally next year, when they have the new line of models out for 2007.

Exactly. Even without any discount, the retail price of HK$9600 (about SG$1900) is much cheaper than ANY other kangaroo leather suits out there. Not to mention the titanium. And that is the top-of-the-line MotoGP replica. There are less elaborate suits for even less! :thumb:

Okay, I will be able to bring in Arlen Ness / Berik apparel from 2007 onward. I will try to work out some discount, although I can't promise anything. :deal: If you are interested in something, PM me. http://www.madif.com

I can also try to bring in anything that BG sells, if you are really that interested. http://www.bg-performance.com

Went to PG today. The suit felt weightless compared to previous suits I've worn. :thumb:
