seriously, i believe IL4 was questioning why u guys have the rite to tok c*** here and not anybody else?? U guys wan tech tok i believe he's provided quite a amount of info for u guys too... it's juz that u guys turn he's advice on the deaf ears... take the steel braided lines issue... i believe he has made he's point very clear that the banjo nuts that are made from anodized aluminuim gives way to pressure after some time... but still, people are going for brake lines wif aluminium banjo nuts...

which brake lines comes wif aluminium banjo nuts? the banjo nut izzit the circular metal piece that is fixed to the brake lever area?

the same way u differrentiate between steel and aluminium... i believe this kinda thing everyone knows how to tell the difference...:smile:

i believe that when they design the different nutz...they muz be of different function...one is for sure tougher then the other...after all aluminium has onli a lifespan of six years....bt well...how many ppl actually use their bikes for six years??so abt the steel and alu banjo nuts....all up to personal perfence...bt from wat i know...it is the cable that makes a difference....more expensive cables are telfon coated inside n has a rubber casing to protect the ur front shocks from scratching and at the same time protect the cable....juz my point of view...pls dun bomb me bk if i am wrong...

opps i kind of read wrongly...anyway that is my view abt steel cables n banjo nuts...to kw if alum or steel use a metal object and hit the nuts...metallic sound is steel...abit of a hollow sound is alu....

talking abt tech talk ....i am not riding a gsx...juz a fren...have ur all heard of cdi booster?i am looking for smthing to make a power cruve to start earlier...would a cdi booster help??or is it onli for small cc bikes with weak cdi's?

Well..

Aluminium nuts cannot take the pressure of the steel hoses as well as the steel ones..

I've seen cases where the Aluminium ones give way and brake fluid gets onto your disc and u can imagine yrself the consequences when u try brake!!! :faint:

I agree with wat u say about aluminium have a lifespan of 6 years that is without with standing the high pressure of the steel hoses, hydrualic pump and fluid.... :nono:
