I heard Eugene TAn is good and cheap..any comments..going to service my bike soon..and where do u get MOtul ENgine oil...IF got gathering where u guys wana go???go Ah boy and "mass buy" his stuff at cheap rates??anybody know o good mechanic who is good at GSXR400RR..mione seems seriously outa tune..

I think I over inflated my tyres , me using Bridgestone BT090.. inflate so much until corner a bit scary.Me riding RR model. JUst changed Spiltfire plugs recently..my only advice is dun use it..cos mine lose some power..go for NGK.. Anybody know where to get the exhaust cut for a better sound??How do i make sure i can inflate my tyre to the right pressure??I use MAlaysian Vpower, Castrol RS and 230km b4 reserve

 

My exhaust is a "tong" one... meaning they use some sharp tool to puncture the piece(s) of metal at the end of the can.. sounds not bad, but my last inspection nearly failed CO2 level by 2%... noise level pass although louder than stock exhaust

i had my fair share of experiences with him and its not convenient to say it out now in a public forum thou.

wouldnt mind to talk abt it over coffee.

 

motul engine oil can buy from auntie shop, costs $24 with

 

or motoworld for $23 plus with NO OIL CHANGE TOO *forget the latest prices liao*

 

or at COMBINE MOTORS located at 2nd floor sin ming auto care. since u knoe where engene tan is then the location is no problem.

costs $22 per litre WITH OIL CHANGE.

 

tuning of the carbies i reccomend guan ho ( not guan ho cheong )

who is the local agent in SG. charges are cheaper than ET and i promise a good job. i was very impressed by his professionalism.

 

 

as for suzook OEM parts juz try KS motocycles somewhere near LAB. juz walk up against the traffic ah boy and... taaaa dahhh

parts are even cheaper than guan ho.

anybody know where to go "tong" exhaust and how to get to the place..my exhaust is a GSxr400rr original pipe( need welding cos broken). me going to Ah boy on 9 NOV next Sat to buy a Double bubble windshield and GSXR brake light bulb...maybe going for more stuff...anyone wana join me..maybe buy more cheaper??Anybody know how much..to fully service the carbie??how much does the rider seat cost??SMs me if wana go along maybe will be cheaper...96830262

Seng Kwang located at the AMK autopoint 5th floor, I welded my exhaust for $80.

Trust me, you'd be better off looking for one in Singapore. There aren't many 400cc bikes here to begin with. Most folks buy 600cc, except suckers like me.

 

But I know a dude up north in Penang that deals almost exclusively with Thai 400cc. He can get Thai exhausts, but not sure how much. At any rate, I think that would be too much trouble for you compared to looking for one i S'pore.

Just wana write something abt GSXR400RR of mine..Got an inspiration..

 

When I stop at junctions, the quiet and serenity 4-stroke humming comes from my back..Moving off when light is green..I feel a lack of satisfaction..as the "silent warrior" sleeps underneath the ferring. Cruising prove too boring for me as the GSXR just feel just anything. Once into the filter, up the highway, I know the "silent warrior" awaits me...as the road in front of me clears, I know it's time...I crouch low, tuck myself in.. postion my throttle hand forward..

At that moment, I twisted full Throttle.....At once, the familiar humming turned into a thunderous scream underneath the fuel tank as the RPM meter roars to life..I feel the silent warrior awaken..and pushing my ride beyond control..from 100 to 160 km in less than 4 secs and pushing further...I feel scared...i glimpse at the Speedo..it shoot pass 160 and reach 180 in the next sec...i know i have to let go..

 

For an old and under rated bike, the GSXR possess the most "character" of all 400CC. It's areodynamic shape, extreme riding posture, high foot pegs..Screaming exhaust...and best of all, the rush that comes in when full throttle at 8000 rpm. It's is the thing that make GSXR stands out..the raw power that can only be tapped when u r ready to test ur limit..
