yo guys i saw a FW g4 at yishun... i tot it onli last up to k or L or somethin lyk tt?? or new models comin out??? keen to buy one soon.....:cheer:

i mean the GSXR old number plate got retained by the owner lah.. say maybe its an FL plate... FL8888B then the owner retain the number plate and trf to his new bike, new number plate FWXXXX is on the GSXR liao lor...

Wan to service go Planet ubi or K&T . GH can try if u got free time.. coz they really noe how to slack.. do ur bike can stop n go wax a 1st hand bike.

no lah...he see pple one lah.....if you're a regular customer he will serve you very fast one.

 

 

As for the shock...as they say....got $$ anything can be done

pcb.. fark GH . knn went there service my carb n valve clearance .Yesterday 11.30am reach there.. take off my fairing halfway go wax other bike.. wax finish take off fairing completely tell me lunch time.. Later confidently told me 5pm can get bike. 5.30pm call say he got problem tuning my bike.. say my carb lousy.. have to collect another day 12pm. Reach there 12.30pm n tat old man then start doing my bike. Keep telling me wad my carb mod until so jialat.. feel like mao him jialat on spot. After finish everything.. once again he so much confident call me go test da bike 1 round.. he say da engine sound very power n nice. Ok i go test. After i rev n drag 2th or 3rd gear.. close throttle clutch in.. da whole bike engine die off.N when i release da clutch suddenly da engine recover n attempt a engine brake. WTF. My moving off was so sucky now n throttle's energy no longer da same. Went back there.. i told him wad happen. N i rev twice double quick time.. da rpm fall back to 0 n about to die.N later he say its da idling setting. MACHIAM i dint noe tat.. i already tune it to 1.5k already.N i told him he dint believe n tune MORE. I went another round.. i came back infront of his shop , bike stationary n da rpm is 2.5k. :sian: N he tune back to 1K. Along da way home i already feel my moving power already weaken ALOT. But onli thing improve is when i throttle more.. got tat kind of suddenly rush feeling.Swee swee reach my car park. problem lai liao.. when i throttle n hold it there.. da bike move n stop move n stop.Like da fuel cant enter in properly. SWEE LA GUAN HOE. I told him service my carb n valve clearance. He can even forget to do my valve clearance n say wad he already did.Later bill dint even state valve clearance's fee. SO GOOD ? valve clearance for FREE ? Tml morning going back his shop to fix da problem n will be da LAST time going there.

memang gitu mah. mechanic motor told me thats how to know battery condition. heat up your engine n shut it off n look your volt meter, sampai mana ia berhenti. 12.7 ok, below 12.2 need to change. if it stay at 12.2 u on your ingnition, it will drop more below 12.0.

aiya i think tat rear shock cannot fit liao.. da head n da tail da same pattern wan.. stock g4 shock's head n tail diff pattern to fit in da swingarm.

so he is saying that by monitoring the voltage at 12.2 u need to change it?? what happen if the voltage is.. let say 11.5v n u can still start the bike?? I not trying to smart but fixing a volt meter let u monitor yr battery voltage.Seeing whether it is charge properly by the rectifier at approx. 13 to 14volts. And to monitor if theres is no charging or over-charging.BTW, who's yr mechanic??(just wanna know.Ho hard feeling...:smile: )

haha...my rear* voltmeter also indicate 11.5v++ when i switch on the ignition...but when i start the bike...it rise up to 14v... :cheeky:

i hav battery problem before, not even 1 year, around 9 month condem. at first i thought it should not be battery cause its not over a year old. then check by mechanic, i see how he check, heat up the engine, volt around 14+, then shut it off, it began to drop fast. from 13v to 12.2 drop fast, condem. new battery same 14+ shut off, this time 13v to 12.7 drop very slow. good battery. good luck!

So how much u bought da battery ? Issit all battery for g4 is 12volt ??

Well, one man's meat is another man's poison...... Heard gd comments as well as lousy ones abt GH before......

 

But so far, i have not had any bad experiences with GH. But u got to admit that they charge very low rates for washing n tuning.

 

Dropping by tomolo for a quick check....hope it can be fixed on the spot...might see me there.......

wah... you sound like you're really so angry... errr..i guess it's because he duno u plus he's busy so didnt do a nice job??

 

anyway, mine was done there once... after doing, test the bike is ok... then 1 or 2 days later the tuning is gone again... so found another bikeshop and ask them to do for me.. so far so good... :smile:

 

probably my bike just dun like GH.. kekekeke... :cheeky:

yap was really angry at tat moment n when ever i start my bike today.I guess bikers all got this kind of attitude ba.. when u'r riding a bike which is quite alrite.. after visiting a shop.. spent $ n return u a bad condition wan.. somemore throughout da journey home u'r playing along wif ur bike... tat kind of feeling really tulan sial.BTW he claim tat he did tuning for me but i found out tat 1 of da sparkplug connector wasnt even plug in da hole.. how can pple do tuning wif 3 sparkplugs ?Later i inform him abt it n he just say ' AIYAH U SCARE WE CHEAT U MEH ?'

Well I been thru this phase, for the month of Jan my bike was in-out of GH (General Hospital.. haha:cheeky: ) Din get to use my bike at all. Imagine at the 1st day of chinese new year, i hav to push start.... But anyway not to flame GH, although I kept going back, they seriously try to troubleshoot the persistent problem. Initially, was quite fustrated with them... almost wan to give up on my bike. But anyway, they din charge me anything for the "re visits" except for the towing after chinese new year.

 

My point is that they will definite look at ur problem seriously. On ur part, i think patience loh... No point feeling fustrated. If u really feel dissatisfied with the service, juz get ur bike done. After this, juz go and change shop loh. Personally, my bike now is ok liao. At least, my persistence pays off. Hope urs too.

 

Dun get pissed off or wat. Juz treat it as an experiance to get to noe ur bike mechanism loh. Maybe for u, time is wasted here, and inconvienience. I guess for u, u can either change shop, n spent abit money and see ur luck if the next mechanic can solve it or juz tahan the current bike shop, at least they noe wat they did before, and can proceed from there. Anyway it is up to u. Hope ur bike recovers.
