Hey guys. I am clearing my tool cabinet and found sm stuff that some guys left at my place. PM me n leave me a price u wanna purchase at:

 

1) Rear seat (can use to mould into single seater)

2) Radiator

 

I guess thats all for gsx400....collecting dust around...dun wanna waste space. Need more space for new tools.

it depends. washing carb is $45. tuning is $20.20

 

sometimes if u do more, tuning is free.

 

anyway, once u wash ur carb, u need to add in new casket ~ abt $20

 

so if u go there just to tune n wash shld be more den $45

anyway... si bei sianz now.. bike like bit weird weird de. think the carp got prob le.. Ask ya guys hor.. if the flood of the carp got prob.. then what will happen and what will u feel? will feel weird weird de anot? then like petrol cannot go in like that anot? cos i got HKL.. one mech told me is the air filter and carp, the other told me is flood and carp. Sianz... :help:

both mechs are correct in a certain way...

 

if yer carb float bowl is 'flooding' yer sparkplug will get wet and fouled. It will not work properly or even fire at all.

 

If yer air filter is clogged., this will lead to improper fuel to air ratio....too much petrol mixed with too little air. this will also cause the plugs to get fouled.

 

Symptoms of misfiring/non-firing plugs are loss of power and the exhaust note will sound like a scrambler.

 

Note: the $45 carb cleanup at GH does not include rejetting. It's just a cleanup of the carbs and a carb synch.

Wooo... Just came back from meeting up with Ferrous... Quite a nice guy... Too bad it's raining, can't pillion him to test out my bike... Oh ya, Ferrous, the pic of my fren's bike I was talking about, I lost it... Anyway, it's something similiar to the one i attaching below.... haha, yeap...jus met up with yinghu jus now...a very nice guy urself too, your sincerity impressed me the most to come all the way from sengkang even though its raining

 

yea..too bad its raining...budden i bet i will only be more impressed if i had the chance to be pillioned

wanan know how much roughly does each jet needle cost and a clutch cable cost?? suspected that my jet needle might be worn, causing fc to be very high. *12km/l* tot of buying at ks 1st then proceed to a bike shop and do up my carb.

 

Intending to go for carb servicing, butd oesn't really wish to go GH as what I heard they use manual tuning and will go out of sync easily. Any place to recommend for carb svc(wash tune, jettings?? wat else??)...and the damage will be roughly how much? pardon me..really have to be calculative, still a nsf...

somemore juz got ripped off for a clutch cable, paying 28 for the clutch cable + workman ship. Actually tot of changing the cable of these days but, but never expect yesterday riding along woodlands then it rained and coincidently, the cable juz snapped. LPPL call tow....additional 20 on top of that! Zzzz

Wah...you got ripped big time...... but just pay n forget abt it.....spend abit of $$ to keep yourself safe...tats the most important... $$ can earn back....safety is priceless

 

As for the carb needle...not too sure... mabbe less den 15? not too sure.

If you wanna do jetting mabbe can try bringing it to rosli...heard from AE86 its not bad. tink he got the address...i know its somewhere near GH but not sure of the exact location.

 

Cost wise be prepared to cough out abt 200? It'll be gd if you can do your valve clearance at the same time.... but it'll take a day or 2 for everything to be done and there'll be additional costs.

Solidpig: Chutch cable u can getit cheap at planet ubi, i got it for $12 onli.For Jet needle/needle jet u can get it at KS. I also planning to buy jet needle x4 n float x4 then bring to msia cdi_rr's motordiam n fix. Maybe go there wash n tune bike.

 

I think best to service ur g4 is either at planet , K&T( last time fix lots of g4 wan but now rvf) or combine motor ( heard gd comments there ). But gotta bring my carb stuff to msia n fix coz buy from KS call them fix they sure give a damn face n charge u ex..
