Hmm....this happen to my bike before also...I clean the tube and apply casket glue, it do work and stop leaking.

 

Maybe you should give a try if you can't find the parts.

Bro.. U play drag ah? !st gear my 400RR can hit abt 90 at 15k RPM, If clear till 18k RPM, hit abt 120. (With my Yoshi)U dare to push ur bike that hard not? its 10+ years already... I dun reccommend doing this all the time.. Norm travelling i change gear at 5k RPM, save some petrol, else, u can ride on highway on 1st gear, then at the end of the journey, u have 2 options, change engine, or scrap bike.. haha

U must tell us more like how no smooth, there are some problems related know.. like

 

1. Clutch plates worn out, (Move off with high rev but slow pick up, then all of a sudden pick up, should happen to at least 1st 3 gears..)

2. Fuel and Air ratio wrong. too much air. (It will feel like no pwr with loud exhaust, then it picks up gradually)

3. Idling too low (move off / Idling engine like wanna die, then must rev higher then can get smooth ride)

 

Just my past exp... sharing only.. Can always take it to mech.. those exp one will know the 3 symtoms easily.. Good luck:cheer:

This part is still available at local Suzuki Parts Distributor. Its located near Dunlop St if i not wrong. I believe the mech can get it for u too.. wont cost much for a brand new one, max $10 but i figured it to be abt $5. Its just high temp rubber..

My mech can get them easily.. I cant force u to go my mech, so try ur fav mech...

haha no worries. not offended. hmm.. my normal pickup is abt 5krpm speed is abt 40km/h if normal drag. is this normal?

i guess it would be the second one. hw can i get it done? get a shop to tune? any recommended shop and hw much would the price be?

basically, i haven done anything much cos i haven got the guts to try the bike to the fullest at this point of time yet.....

will do some upgrading when i got sick of the current condition....

 

as for my ex_gixxer:-

 

1) chain broke,

2) jammed up the gear box,

3) sold to ah_chong for 500 bucks

4) kanna **** by ah_chong upon collection of IC after transfer

5) engine flooded, upon trying to start.

6) scrap bike (ah_chong)

5k RPM at 40km/h... thats ok wat... dun drag 1st gear lah, unless u racing.. else jus change gear and up... u using a stock pipe or aftermarket? if ur stock pipi is hollowed, then there will be not enuf pressure, causing the bike to respond loudly but little movement at low speed. This one must tune carb according to ur exhaust type..

Bro, Motul got do chain lube? u refering to 4T is it? full syn or semi syn? 300 or 5000?

dou i dun take VERY good care for my bike, but i can't be blame for the chain's snap.... it's a almost 1year RK X-ring, i will tighten it once almost every month. lubricate it once every fortnight, or after every raining day. Brand: PJ1.

 

3 weeks is an important info, cos i am selling it.
