Maybe the drain plug crush washer. By right after every oil change need to change the plug washer. The washer acts as a seal once it's crushed by the tightened drain plug. Next time u change the plug, ideally u need to replace te crush washer. Or else the washer losses its sealing capability, leading to oil leak.

Or worse case scenario, the gundu mechanic tightened the drain plug with brute strength to show how much power he has, to the point of cracking the sump case.. Then oil leaks from the cracks.

Or u can go for the magnetic drain plugs that have a reusable washer.

Hope this helps.

Wat type of brake pads is recommended for better braking n how much does it costs?

Normally people will recommend EBC HH or BREMBO brake pads. You can get EBC HH from unique motorsports; not too sure for BREMBO brake pads thou.

Not sure if this has been asked before...

Would like to get the opinions of those riding S4s with high mileage over 100k/150k and so on. Have you done valve clearance? How important is it?

If yes, was the condition really bad? I'm still contemplating if I should go ahead and do it at this moment (close to 170k) as it would take 3-5 working days and I need my bike as daily transport. Workplace is rather far.

Thanks..

If I'm not wrong our fellow S4 forumer Hair1 (or Hairi or Ha1r1, not sure how to spell it) has done valve clearance before.

can ask him for results.

if you west-sider even better, I think he is west-sider.

cheers!

Hi guys,

I've just changed my brake rotors, AGAIN after 6 months. My previous newly replaced OEM ones were warped within the first 2 months, suspected that its cause of overheating cause the rotors burns everytime after a ride. Now that I changed it again to the original one, it feels good, but after I rode back home and touch the rotors, they burned my fingers, exact same thing as before. I don't want them to warp again cause of overheating, anyone have any idea how to rectify this?

Things I've done previously:

Clean and service calipers, brake pistons

Replaced brake pads

Bleed brakes

Replace brake pump

I've done almost everything except changing the whole caliper. :?

Shoud and bellypan all can get at various places and shops. But...thus far to my understanding, no main stand for spec 1. I know :(
