Buying 2nd hand bike

I was looking through Carousell and noticed that some bikes are really cheap for 600cc-1000cc. Some that I saw were gsxr, gsr, Kawasaki z800, mt07 and fz6. Is it just because they are old or they most probably will be needing a lot of work to be done? I’m aware that the gixxer has been discontinued so the spares are hard to get. The most expensive repair on these bikes would have to be overhaul which will be around 2-3k? I just need something for 1-2 years and was considering one of these.

can just go and meet them and listen for any weird noise and pricing always matters when comes to motorcycle.

 

at the same time, most of the time, older bikes are not in demand. and thus the price kept going lower and lower. Most of the time, you see those bikes in perfect condition, left a few months COE going for 2-4k (estimated)
