inquiry about TP with camera.

today i rode on TPE towards PIE, i riding on 1st lane, at around 110 km/h +-.

there was a 10 wheel lorry on 3rd lane blocking the TP standing there with camera.

 

by the time the lorry pass by the TP and i saw it, i immediately slow down to about 90 ++.

 

i consulted my friend and he said his friend ride 112 km/h and the TP chase after him den he kanna, if mine nv chase me i will not kanna. is it true? coz his speed is about the same like mine.

 

i dun know if the TP had caught my act. but my question is, will i kanna anything?

Most of the time if the fella is on the shoulder and did not come after you should be OK. If he has a radar camera and caught you that way then you'll get a summons letter. But 95% should be OK.

Since you already dun know if TP caught your act or not, the more we would NOT know whether you will kena anything! Make sense?

Do anything you like, just don't get caught.

From wat i noe,u told e ur fren kena caught,but not you,there is eg.one tp,chances going on in his mind is "hmmm ,two speeding bikes?Let me just pick one".unless he have more reinforcement just the exp i had with my family.

depends on luck bro. i was riding 110 once and expressway patrol was driving beside me, i signal left and they overtook me w/o anything bad happening. anyway about 10 -20km/h above speed limit should be within acceptable range as there's usually some errors on the speedometers. and you had already slowed down. An eg, my k7, when riding side by side with my fren's k4 70, shows 80 on the digi speedo.

 

another reason is, unless these officers are holding speed cameras, they will not know your actual speed.

eg, i was riding up the Jalan Bahar acceleration lane onto PIE towards KJE.

with some luck, i saw this BIG head fairing speeding towards me. i was travelling at arnd 110km/h.

so, just in case it was a tp, i closed throttle.

by the time the fellla was beside me, i was only at 80+.

he used his bike speedo to measure the other vehicle speeds.

seeing tht i wasnt flouting any rules, he throttled away, only to stop a tipster right in front of me.

he hid nicely behind the truck before he was sure of his speed, and stopped him immediately.

Yes Bikes do have speedo errors,the bigger the bike the bigger the speedo error around 10% to 15 %, cause he he holds a radar gun with a recorder,trust me probably it is ur luck ur speedo is a round 95 or 100 i presume you are off the hook...:angel:good luck brother.

it's surprising that the this department of the police force is so efficient..

 

i wonder if you guys have come across the issue at HWZ where there was this guy who had his car scratched for 4 times.. he reported the incident to the police and yet the police didn't do anything even when the victim had strong evidence of the culprit (he had a video cam installed in his car and he caught the culprit in the act) ..

 

When it comes to traffic offences.. my goodness.. they are damn efficient.. !!!
