hi guys, been looking into this bike for a while, its rareness on the street is a big draw for me. currently riding a r6 and backside has been itchy for a while.

 

anyone care to share the riding experience on it? last time i sat on it at a roadshow the tank felt narrow, very different feel as compared to japanese sport bikes

Sweetest sports bike you will ever ride at this point in time, bar none.

 

Its good enough to make even a very average rider quick around the track, and in the city its plenty enough not to be a pain in the ass.

 

My one gripe so far is the seat does get damn hot! Be ready for sweaty nuts.

Eh guys, is it really worth getting the R model over the 675 just got the fork and brakes? i need feedbacks. Am considering the 675 to the 675R.

Personally if u ask me getting 675 (600cc) conti bike over a 675R with the brembo and CF goodies.. i will choose a R version. Personally i feel beside the 3in1 that this conti bike can provide there is nothing much special abt the normal version. If your pocket allow u then choose a R. If your pocket dont allow u then go get a jap bike.

 

Even i have change over to triumph but I still love my old CBR600 which i ride it for 4yrs before i change to this. This monster give me alot of surprise and learning lesson. I can safely say that among all the conti bike this is the best choice but almost all the 600cc bike this is not the best choice.

I am owing a 2013 R model, maintenance almost like Jap bike just that certain item you need to use back original triumph.

Con man from mah? Seriously, at this time and age, if they even dare to con. Just post up the details and show to the world.

Dude.... u have to justify your statement leh. Although I don't own a Triumph, I go there once in awhile and frankly I find the guys a nice bunch.

Mine is 2010 model which i bought may 2011. I didn't choose the R model is due to 2 things.

 

1 - those Brembos if got stolen, ain't a cheap replacement.

 

2 - for upgraded Ohlins suspension, how far do we use it optimally? Even stock bike if you know how to play around with the setting, handling will be as sweet as aftermarket ones.

 

Normally people go for the R version is due to bling factor. I doubt they know nuts on setting up their expensive upgrades. Don't get discouraged if your budget is only for the base version. You will not regret indefinitely. I got budget for the R version but choose the base version. Go figure.

 

Best part about my bike? Ecu can be custom tuned just by using a laptop. It's free for all too!
