Hi guys Just got my Nsr250 pgm4. currently still taking my Class 2A license at SSDC.

 

my bike is currently in "Lay Up" I just want to ask for some advice on how to maintain the bike till i pass my Class 2A.

 

just normal warming up or engine and riding it around my carpark as of now,

 

should i be cleaning any parts or changing engine oil or what els should i be doing to maintain the bike well.

Change piston,ring,rod,berring,c pin and gasket.

 

Piston size got A, B and C.

 

What to buy for ur cylinder

Ur block got stamp A, B OR C.

A cylinder use A piston max size use B

B cylinder Max size ur B

C cylinder max size use c

 

Plug

Use NGK BR9ECM OR BR9ECMIX

 

ENGINE OIL

USE motul gear oil

 

Is better to come out and have a drink

Honda dun make anymore other size pistons,only D.

Even if have other sizes will be old stock and f exp.Sgp no more.

Plugs Sg also stop bringin in so I keep stock.@15 BR9ECM

Guys sorry for sp many question but my first bike was a Yamaha R15v2.

 

So i know almost nothing about 2-stroke bikes.

 

1) firstly, all my 2 stroke friends bikes have a 2t oil tank to pour their 2t.

For the NSR250 Pgm4 there is no 2t oil tank?

 

2) i heard not many mechianic's know how to do the NSR250

Anyone can recromend where they go for servising or repair?

OMG! Ur really lost

All NSRs got 2t tank if not its taken out ah

Alot of mechanics say they can do the bike but most is nonsense

A good mechanic has the svc manual to work with n none have

In the end i prefer do it myself

Vicom wouldn't even pass my bike fully stock coz exhaust belly got welding done before...

My rear mudguard was cut. Now need to find some kind of replacement.
