Hey Guys

 

Any Pgm riders know how to derestrict the powercut on PGM 4?

 

I have searched local and overseas archives and forums but cannot get a definite answer.....

 

Pls enlighten mi

 

1)NSR card: At every gear, the cut off is at 10 000 RPM

 

2)HRC card: At every gear, cut off is at 12 000 RPM

 

*Is this oso on every PGM?

 

**My harness is oredi spliced as wat i observed cos if i insert HRC card oso got signal, taillight comparing with the data i obtained at NSR-World web page.

 

Above scenario, my so called top is ard 156km on digtal.....but for hrc theres no speedo, reckon best at 180 - 190 km

 

I sincerely ask anyone to come forward with some kinda answers? Thks

yap the original card rpm is 10000

 

hrc card without race pipe is 12000

 

are u sure ur original top is 156km. u should have a top of 180-185km.

 

as for hrc the top is ard 200km.

 

u have all ur signal light is becoz ur wire have alreadi been fix. So as u still get all ur light ever u are using hrc card.

 

if u reali dnt wan ur lights to be on u have to do a black out switch for ur bike.

Actually there is little difference between the normal and hrc card. The hrc card does not provide u more bhp or more top speed. It just allow you to drag more to the red zone. yes it does break the 180km/hr speed limit set by the japanese but cant go much more unless you modified the chamber and many other things in order to hit above 200km/hr.

 

However if your max speed is 156km/hr on a normal card, i advise you to see a mechanic. if not, i believe is ur previous owner change the gear ratio to have a better acceleration rather than speed.

U can try First Motor at Ubi. They should hv the fairing u need.

what card key r u using HRC or original card?

Thks Ah Pek, read thru the NSR250 threads, rub eyes (blur vision). Think it is cause by the HRC card wiring.

HRC Card works best n up to spec wen used with the jetting kit and airbox not to mention pipes man..that why u hv probs wen u use it on the std setup..n 1 more thing..junk the airbox haha..

Hi all,

 

My PGM4 is due for 3000km servicing soon after riding for 8 months. Would like to take the opportunity to change out all rubber seals and parts that are prone to wear-and-tear for precautionary measures.

 

Can anyone here advice on the list of things for a comprehensive servicing for our beloved bikes e.g. brakes, clutch, forks, electrical, carb, exhaust, engine etc...?

 

Any suggestions and shop recommendations are welcome. Thanks!

Hahaha! Struck lottery? How I wish! But thought tat since gonna keep the bike, might as well do a good servicing before problems come in to avoid the frustrations later on. Actually engine is healthy, juz wanna do preventive maintenance.
