Don't waste too much time on turbo'ing a TS...too much moolas and run in with the law. Just drop in an EJ25. Naked eyes also can't see.

Haha, if kena those ROV road block and they ask you to pop the hood, think that will be the end man.......

I bet that's for sure... But the fuel consumption will drain your blood dry.

not neccesary... bigger cc doesnt always mean higher FC...

TS is a very heavy car with awd... a 1.6 engine need effort to move the car... you need 2 rev higher to move it a little faster... higher rev = higher consumption...

with a bigger block, lest effort is used to move the car... higher torque makes the car more drivable @ low revs...

a well tuned 2L civic can have the same FC as a 1.6L civic...

Last time I brought in 15 units, all snapped up. Was sold for around $3k plus install. Brand new blocks, not 2nd hand or from half cuts. Let me check whether have stocks a not.

2.5 into 1.6 enigne? ?? dont we have to mod the throttle body and ecu to manage it?

No need. Plug and play as the short block is all mechanical components. Only the cam angle sensor needs some adjustment. Other than that, the car rocks. Drove one of these 2.5 tame looking TS in Sepang over the weekend...very very nice torque.

Try joining http://www.rexfactor.org. Subaruclubsg is mainly for buy sell purposes.
