It got to do with something else rather then power cut. Powercut just restrict you from travelling at high speed ( comfirm more then 121km/h) and it will not cause your engine to die off. Its better u go CB400 thread to ask the ppl there abt ur problem.

Is super 4 top speed 320kph...?Cos I know some cars or bikes have crazy top speed that why they cut the power to prevent the bike from travelling at high speed. I mean S4 less than 200kph right....Is there a need for cut?

S4 speed cut comes in at 180kph. The more obvious would be the rev cut. You do not need to hit speed cut limit to hit rev cut limit.

There are a few different breeds of spec 3's. My spec 3 can go all the way till end 190 and still no cut. Its all about the red zone. Entering it will cause you to get a cut back.

That's the rev cut when you get the cut back. Speed cut is there but it can be bypassed by using redrev or some other methods. Speed cut is there due to Japan's law.

Btw, have you double checked if your s4 has redrev installed, or cross checked your speedo's 190kph with a GPS? It is good to know if you are really travelling at that speed or being fooled by errors generated by things such as tire size, sprocket size etc?

bro ... i have tt experience before.... CDI chui ....

Yups have to agree with him on this. If the bike, when moving, like got power when u open throttle then like lost power immediately then gain power back. It could be the CDI. Check if the CDI is in bad shape.

Get it replaced and you are good to go.

I just got a Vitec 3, plate FY. I speed till 121km/h and the bikes starts to slow down, when I throttle, it doesn't respond, it dies off after i stop at the road shoulder.. Does Vitec 3 has any power cut? It took me few mins before i manage to get the bike started again. Again, the bike dies off at the traffic light the moment i stop and kick it to NEUTRAL. Can someone explain to me, what are the positive problems that I'm facing right now, and what should I do. Thank you.

b4 u do antyhing expensive, i suggest check your spark plugs and air filter.

No more regrets.

there one more check b4 jumping to cdi..

check that all fuel hose including the return hose to the fuel tank....

partial restriction will oso cause that..

look for improper installation or foreign object pressing on it..

there's no difference btw any spec3 except for factory colours..

all S4 except Project Big One have powercut at 180kph.. inclusive of JDM cars like GTR.. unless you remove the powercut via shortcrcuiting of wires or install devices like redrev..

the reason why you can go up to 190kph is because the analog speedo is inaccurate..

good analysis there..

TS done any bike wash prior to that?? water may gotten inside sparkplugs and cause this problem to occur..

last thing to note is that, speeding is not encouraged here..

we just advice the solutions to your problems..

jus change all ur 4 spark plug and change ur eo.. tat shld solve ur problem..

if not u shld go for a carb wash and get ur jettings re-done..

most likely r ur plugs burnt, when ur bike idling do you hear weird noise from e engine.. if yes, most likely e plugs aren't firing ur piston..
