Any recommendation for hotels in Krabi?

Not too ex but convenient.

 

Read about The Verandah or The Palace Ao Nang Resort... but seems the price during Apr very high abt 1600baht upwards. Is that the usual rate for high reason?

hi guys .. im thinking of driving up to krabi in end Dec. How long does it take to reach from thai border to krabi..

From Hatyai it is about 300km to Krabi, with Trang at halfway.

I think should be able to maintain 80-100km/h (I not sure though).

Me and my buddy did a trip to krabi all the way from singapore.

we departure midnight at 12am.reach thai border around 8am with speed ranging from 140 to 180km/h.rest a while at sadao and set journey to krabi. reach krabi afternoon at 4pm,check in krabi town, cozy place hotel rate at

1k baht,i suggest to put one night stay in hatyai for those who can't endure long trip as might facing traffic along the way which delay the trip and not reaching the destination at expected time..

 

we decided to stay at cozy place hotel as cheaper,luxury clean room with swimming pool access,walking distance to krabi town.furthermore fast access to tiger cave temple,(it's a must)emerald pool,hot spring waterfall.

Thks bro ... at least i can now know how long it gona take me to reach krabi.. im abit concern if its too far and may take more time to reach there .. 300km seems ok for me. i dont want to reach there too late in the evening ...

Wow that is really something .... all the way to krabi from sgp.:thumb: Im planning to stop over in penang and stay a nite there and move again the next morning to krabi.Just hope my kids can take the long trip up north. Did u guys book ur hotel online or jus find one when u reach there ... coz booking online is much cheaper then u walk in to the counter ...
