EMAS Recovery

Hi i need some help from veterans/seniors/old timers/experts around here.

 

If a person riding a bike self skided on the expressway road, no damage cause to government property, EMAS comes to the scene with LTA Marshaller. Rider substain minor injury and was advised by EMAS staff wheather require an ambulance or not. But in this case rider do not want assitance from the ambulance.Is there a possibility that the rider will be fined/demerit points?

 

The EMAS staff just took the picture of the bike only and tow it to the nearest exit.

 

Can anyone answer my enquires? Thank you.

Should be ok one. Their job is just get wrecks out of expressway. Taking picutures is a SOP for them. They ask if you need ambulance is probably out of concern. No worries!

I think they take pictures is just to protect themselves, just in case some ingrates claims that the tow truck damage their vehicles...

you can in fact get fined and points even if you didn't damage any property.

something got to do with inability to properly control vehicle.

 

got a friend kana before.. but he and his bike didn't even fall.

i dont think anything will happen to u.. i self skidded and EMAS came.. 1yr already, nth happen to me so far.. ^_^

As long as no accident reports is logged to Traffic Police.. nth will happen to you. If you dmg goverment property such as the lamppost all this..

Huge bill will come to you.. but still no Traffic offences will come as no report is logged. hope that ans your questions in all.

Self Skid Is Worth 6 Points.

 

I Once Skidded On PIE Then TP Came Over. He Closed One Eye & Didnt Give Me The 6 Points. It All Depends Lorr. But On Your Case, Since No TP Was At The Scene, It Should Be Nothing Lorr.

I did not offend the EMAS crew nor the LTA 3 wheeler marshaller.

The Emas crew just stated they have to get my bike away from expressway or else it will cause hazard to other road users. The Lta marshaller just escort behind EMAS lorry and did not take down any particulars. Once reach the nearest exit and parking space, one of the crew just asked em to sign something i dunno what paper la

if made damage to gov properties , can ask gov claim 3rd party??

or gov wants money from my pocket??

i thought 3rd party is just a piece of paper for us to be able to ride on the road? any accidents whatsoever you got to pay..

no la ... 3rd party is for people to claim you , insurance company pay for claims
