if its any comparison, for a 1.5 / 1.6L OPC sedan, the price varies with models, a Nissan Sunny, Kia Cerato, Hyundai Verna only 19k onwards, a Toyota Vios, Suzuki Swift, 23k onwards, Hondas, Mazdas typically above 30k most of the time. And Honda insurance also dam expensive!

if u like the car then is worth.. accessories is up to individual. Selling price is slighty high imo as it's a opc

oh accessories are secondary for me .. i just wana to seek feedback whether is it worth .. hmm .. any advice whats the best buying price for this car? considering the OMV is quite high for a 1.5cc car .. perhaps u can help me set a range ??

must ask workshop to see the car condition first, just in case it might be a lemon. well if i'm buying then maybe i would offer the dealer 25k most if everything is in good condition.

maybe can consider hyundai avante? can get new one with that price range

yes, provided the COE is 17k, new car price 47k - 17k rebate or isit 15k rebate now? OPC new shld be ard 30k.

imhhhhho

yaaa i also think so the price is high ... if possible to neg till 25k will be better, but dealer / owner consigned to dealer - is difficult to nego to get the price, think minimum 26k only ...

yupp.. i consider before, overall is a gd car, neverthess, the OMV of hyundai are low, hence affect the parf value in future? fuel consumption, best 13km/l only ??

Its a bad time to buy a car now IMHO ;)

New car i suppose.. Govt cutting COE quota now, so I think COE will exceed 20k anytime soon ....

yaa.. but sometimes dealer also very ridiculous leh, some dealers' price can really rip u off hard hard .. unreasonable pricing, though u nego, think the price will still be high somehow ..

that's how they earn wat  they can jack up 10k then give u 3k discount all those pattern, becoz this is the resale car market. nego price is really a skill man if u buy resale car. if any point the dealer can't meet ur best offer, leave him a contact and ask to consider if he chg his mind or something.

Well new and old not worth it, new is because you're overpaying, when you sell, lose alot.

Old is not worth it because the prices went up because of new car's COE. ;)

Wah so much for a Hyundai? :giddy:

 I hope I can have that function too because I fear forgetting to close my sunroof as well and it rains :giddy:

must find good friend or kakis who can sell you at the price they bought in. That will be good !

For money's sake, buy only when its worth it. Don't rush into paying more ;) Having a 4 wheeler is not a big deal. Paying like a dumbo is.

To the thread starter or whoever else who wanted to buy a OPC.

Consider carefully first whether a OPC suits your lifestyle and work.

Don't buy a OPC and keeps tearing/buying coupons to use the car, it is not worth it and a real hassle.

If don't have the budget to buy a car, don't force yourself by buying a OPC just to satisfy your wish to own a car.

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

OPC only makes sense if its a second car in the family.

yes only if you suit yr lifestyle but tearing coupon for OPC usage is a thing of the past. 29k for 3year thai made honda is definitely not worth it.

anyway, i miss wildcard.

Yeah. The selling price seems rather high for an OPC. TS you considered other cars and deals already?
