[DIY] How to cosmetically modify the Phantom?

haha .. i can't spray my tail till i cut le..haha and before i cut i've got to source for parts..but i don't mind coming up with a template.. and the tank i want to get..not exactly very cheap..$90++ i belive..

 

and normally i would say old bikes, behind the logo its will rust.. hahah.. for my previous ta200 it already rust inside

Lol..nope not 33 L tank..the one Ben using it's just a tank cover..make's the tank look bigger..madman has it..

but if you cut th sub frame, in event of accident insurance cant cover much cause you tampered with th frame.. according t LTA, th frame cannot be mod nor cut.

but cutting th sub frame, you'r breaching th LTA's rule alr..

but if you realise, th licence plate holder (metal not plastic) is part of th subframe nd its hanging at th very end of th fender..

which means, technically, you cant cut th length but can cut th width.. lol.

actually found out that the metal thingy holding the number plate..can be removed..removed it before the previous time without cutting ..the sub frame is the 2 bar outside the tail..the one that you use to mount your boxes?..etc etc..

so it does not void any insurance..

the metal thingy inside it with the fender 1.. its not sub frame..

and there is no sub frame for phantom.

the 1 outside its frame of the whole bike, its not even sub frame

 

the metal thing is to support the screw point of the fender.. if not it will crack easily..

the front fender also got a metal thing at the screw point there

change fender one can i suppose. th subframe is still thr.. or one way or anthr, idk much too.

the so-call-u-tink-is-sub-frame is not with the bike 1... its with the fender..

so if u change big fender the metal thing cannot be use for the new fender.. -_-

But if i want to spray my tank..is it better just to get the covers or just remove e logo and stuff and spray! I also want to spray... together. haha..

my suggestion is t remove th logo, remove th tank from th whole bike itself thn spray..

Yup, agreed on the power part but for me that's a later stage. Now just wanna quench my thirst and mod it to look a little like wad I'm getting in future. Hehehehe....
