Hi all, just had a accident at sembawang road. with a Taxi, wonder if u all can just help me with the correct procedures of reporting to police or idac

go see doctor first....then take 3 days mc. if is the taxi fault, go to your bike shop and ask for help how to report your case to police for a more % of win win case + finding lawyer if you don't have 1.then go to any nearby police station to make a report provide you got 3 days mc. then go to idac for inspection. then settle. if is your fault then just pay the taxi $ if not expensive.

issit a hit n run accident? if u wan a ciam from the insurance, u got to have a police report

Just when the time of accident, there was a IDAC vehice, so the guy become my witness. he help me to take pictures and then send my bike to the work shop.

But problem is i call the police and they ask whether ambulance is needed, then i say no. So police said if no one injury then Traffic police won't come. have to settle yourself. But now the main issue is i go to the work shop where my bike is then i ask the guy over there , he said that claim only for certain things only. for tyres wear and tear so never cover..... i'm so lost cause i don't know which is the things begin covered

things covered r those that were broken during the accident....

wear n tear of tires, brakes, steering cones etc of cos not covered.....

but u may ask ur bike shop to do some changing of these parts n add into the total amount

but my tyres new one. and after the accident the front tyre spolit. got a piece of the tyre like kena shredded like that. so any ideaS Whether can claim?

bro, you are claiming the taxi's insurance right ? from the picture it looks like you are hit (unless you are the taxi driver posting here)

 

Funny leh, the bike shop should know what to claim wat. Ultimately after accident repairs, the bike should not be better than the condition it was before the accident, that is the bottom line.

 

So if tyre tear, just claim the tyres also. cannot be you are riding with a torn tyre before the accident right ?

k. i'm not the taxi driver la... i'm the rider..... cause i never had a accident before... that's why i asking around ... thanks for your help
