so i've decided to get a ktm200 when i pass my license, after MUCH research and comparisons to other bikes and all. and then, i get to know of this ktm200 exc, ktm200 xc, ktm200 egs and etc etc..

 

what are those exc , xc , egs are , really? i did look it up on the net but i don't quite get it. to make things more complicated, they have this street legal and not street legal thingy.

 

so, what does the extra alphabets at the back represents? and what are the differences? and which are street legal? any kind soul care to shed some light? pardon my ignorance, i know nuts about bikes.
