Guys i need help about my r1'08

On the 3rd of august my bike batt flat then i went to change my battery.

3 days later my bike died along PIE. i had to change the magnet,(not magnetic coil)

then i paid $600 for the magnet.

Now my bike batt flat again and they said its my startor motor.

Is it true or the shop trying to eat my money?

How much does a startor motor cost.

My rectifier is working... cause after charging my batt.. then put on my bike start... voltage increasing as i rev... so my rectifier is working ma?

 

 

 

 

 

WOW.. this is quite serious... why u only change the magnet and not the coil tgt?? ?

i believe yr battery is not charging as u moving around... isn't this the rectifier's prob??

The bikeshop tells u its the starter motor faulty... of coz man... Battery FLAT how can the starter motor work?!?!??!

i not sure abt this... u gotta wait for the old birds for the answer...

dun worry dun kan chiong....

My bike still recharge battery as after i charge my battery at shop then run on my bike.. when i start my bike it still recharge cause my voltage still increase when i rev.

sometimes my bike just cant start. they say is my startor motor. but if im not wrong, if startor motor not working, i cant electric start at all right?

i just wanna know whether is it the battery fault or startor motor fault? when battery flat, i push start then can still ride , horn all come back. i switch off and start again can leh.. then after that a few time starting again. then my batt flat again.

when magnetic coil breaks down, bike cannot move

when starter motor breaks down, bike cannot start ( for starting purposes only )

when rectifier breaks down, there is no charging and therefore battery life gets shorten when u try to jump start

the best is try not to modify any electrical stuffs like wiring or HID bulb. Only use the recommended specs as anything that is not recommended will only cause more electrical faults to your bike.

 

you can try to do a 7-point grounding for a better and more stabilize charging purposes.

Think is from hong Leong.. Bike shop called them and

Ask them give him offer de then Bikeshop help him fix free

Ok bro ayat sumtimes carbon build up in the starter motor. As for me. I did once during ns time, brush off the starter coil using steel brush n it really works. But not on my bike.

 

Or maybe ur bike got loose electrical connection... Loose connection or wire burnt can also lead to electrical leakage. And dont forget, iu unit is also an issue cos it alway in stand by mode. :angel:

 

Hope this help. Try remove

Fairing n trace all electrical harness. Do check for cut n tap connection. :thumb:

i called lim ah boy the other time and they selling 525 for the magnet.. its 490 not inclusive of 7 percent gst.. haha
