so there is a chance for the rectifier to be faulty?

well from what i know:

Battery gets their charging from the rectifier and if the battery voltage is constantly low, means that could be the life span is up and need to change a new one.

If the battery is new but and the voltage is low, could be that the rectifier is gone and news to change a new one.

Starter motor is just to crank up your engine for that 1 time only and once the engine starts, it is just a piece of heavy metal on your vehicle.

What say u

hi all,

I'm new here and just gotten my r1 last Tuesday. very thing seems fine.

but until today, the bike dies off everytime I clutch in.

the idling was around 1/-

previous was steady at 1.1-1.25

is it TPS, tuning or cos I removed the silencer. I happen only after I remove the silencer

thanks in advance

cheers

I see. dropped by bike shop earlier on, mechanic said it could be the on of switch on the right handle bar.

also mentioned if its not that it could be the TPS already. but he didn't mention anything about cleaning except replacing it.

anyway it did helped.

next thing is everytime you guys change gear at low speed for eg,

does the RPM falls back to 1? or maintain at 1.1-1.25? mine was at 1

Hey guys, intend to get the 2012 R1 from hong leong quite soon, questions is getting from them is okay ? or there is some other dealer offers better deal ?

Acceleration power is not important than a good perfect braking system to prevent an accident.

sadly to say that most of the bikes came frm them to be distributed to other shop. their prices are fixed and their instalments plans are more trustworthy.

is ur idling stable? if yes then shld be no problem. rpm fluctuates when moving so i dont think there is any problem unless ur bike stall when changing gear at low speed or when u close throttle
