i dont think rolling down the mscp car park can start the bike cause in order to push start, it require a minimum speed of 20km/h then u kick to 2nd gear and throttle and it will start

can tried a few times , only this time round is totally flat . But I wondering hw to start since no ecu to detect e key code ?? It's like w/o a bttery ..

so far i havent tried before push start cause so far my battery has never fail on me before .... but my friends have tried with me helping them to push start and it has worked well

thats quite a normal price for start motor ... but FYI, starter motor rarely gets spoil cause its function is just to start a car or bike and after that, its just a useless piece of metal that adds on to your bike's weight only .... thats why its call a starter motor .... and also u can service the starter motor for its carbon and it will be as good as new again unless it gets short circuited like once your bike is started, u itchy finger go press the start button for fun/frequently. other than that shouldnt get spoil that easy

Agreed... normally starter motor can be refurbished at a small cost. It doesn't normally fail suddenly. there will be some early symptom of weak cranking when the bike is hot.

 

BTW, is your COE is about to due, it's the right time to renew. March PQP 884.

i very piss off with HongLeong services, my bike went for full overhauled, and yet they cant even spot this fault.( my 2 bearing gone, alternator, magnet/ magnetcoil) going to cost me more than 1k now.Tml i am going to HL screw them jia lat jia lat. i hope they r going to be responsible for my bike!
