bro all this while u were sayin ur FC is like bout 18.5km/l, so when u ran dry, how much petrol u had to pump full tank? cos 446 km beats even a S4 FC leh, or u type wwrongly?

maybe u mean 346km? Then its more probable. Since this bike has a full tank capacity at 17. 17x18.4 = err 312...... still fantastic ah. KUdos bro!

Think i finally decided on getting a fazer.

1) Insurance can buy on own or must go thru bike shop?

2) If a shop quote 19k inclusive of license plate. And we have our own reserved plate no. , can we ask to reduce by 100 since we already have the plate no. ?

3) Will yamaha be providing accessories for a larger touring tank.....current 17l is realli small ah....so much to be desired. Its even smaller than my old cbr600rr!

i dun think a larger touring tank is available, this is metal tank leh. not those aftermarket tanks which is made of plastic.

Yes.. Indeed.. Btw now alot of drivers in the road never check blind spot. So more dangerous. I believe most of the brothers/sisters here buy this kind of high torque bike is not for the top speed, but looking for the instant power when we required.

to me no point having a class 2 bike if nvr try top speed once in a while when the coast is clear....

if not better stick to class 2A..

i get u bro... maybe i will try burn the carbon when plying through nsh but personally i dont dare go beyond 200. i m sure some bros out there are more adventurous than me. my fren riding fazer 6 touched 200 b4 so i dont envisage fazer 8 having problems beyond 200. wat i am saying also is faZer8 riders can offer/share our indiv max threshold, not the machine's. hopefully the manufacturers can test it and publish the result online for the benefit of everyone! ride safe ...
