Most cars covered by agent cannot be bought through parellel importers. Hope that clears up ur queries..

Average FC for a manual lancer is between 11 - 14 km/l depends on yr right foot.

Yes very true, there are many good second hand cars. but better to buy direct form owner. all my previous cars except 1 are all direct from owners.

All very good and didnt lose much money besides standard depreciation.

hi, if u are really concern abt FC, u should go 4 the vios. the lancer is an old technology car, interior very old fashion with all the analog meters. My friend driving lancer told me the sound proofing very poor, road noise can be heard loud from the cabin. i have driven vios, very gd pick-up, gd sound proof, suspension and FC. U should also compare the resale value which i think vios has a higher omv.

cheers :cheer: :goodluck:

i drove a vios for 3 years.

Pros

Powerful and silky smooth engine

Good fuel econ (abt 13km/l on my auto, city/highway mix)

Good resale (Mycar body fetch $12k for export, in comparison my friend sunny 1.6 got $7k)

Cons

Cheapo interior - Center console, cup holders, "carpeting" of entire boot".... either pathetic or non-existance

Lousy sound proofing - horrid if compare to corolla, civic or sunny. But better than lancer.

Overall, there aren't much frills to expect, but it's a great car with arguably the best engine in that price range.

2nd hand cars direct from owner u may experience problems getting high financing.

u maybe can consider those lelong coe 2011 cars for 10+ k then do up a bit and then drive. take note their road tax increase by 50% so do choose wisely.

else kia picanto very cheap or qq or geely this kind.

Financing very competitive nowadays, diff not significant.

And if you are buying second hand car yet still need a lot of financing, i advise you not to even think about buying.

one forumer said something very very very true.

"95% of car owners out there, will lose their cars the moment they lose their jobs"

I dont think one should over-leverage especially on an EXPENSE (a car is not considered an investment)

if you lose your job, you're sh*t both ways whether you keep the car or sell it.

Therefore, it is important that you buy the car considering real current wealth not projected income.
