6 mths old but coe until next year?

hi everybody, i just passed my passed my 2b license just recently Thumbs up and i have been reading alot of the sales threads for the past few months.

 

i don't know if anybody have asked anything like this before and u may call me stupid for not knowing this but yarr... im here to learn more about bikes and its related topics so here's the question that has been going up in my head for sometime now.

 

there are threads that say 6mth old bike,9mth old bike, etc. but when they state the coe, it expires the following year or less. how's that possible?

isnt's coe supposed to last at least another 9 years when they say its a few months old? and whats the difference between the two?

are you sure they mentioned coe less than a year? or they quoted road tax? maybe can check with them personally if u got any doubts

ohh... HAHA! i think i got confused between the 2 because i thought it was the same thing... thx for pointing it out...
