There are lots of bikers riding diff. bikes. U will find most of ur answer in here.

Using this bike for Transport purpose. Maybe touring once in awhile. Prefer Sport touring bike... will consider my budget too.. thk for your advice.

find a safer parking place & do a bit of walking.

ST1100 is a 'Gentlemen Express' bike, so choosing a place to park is neccessary.

ST is so huge.. If the box is small... it will look weird... isn't it....

hi ev....

the top box isn't actually that small as you may have imagined.

looks like a normal 42L conventional givi/kappa, only more square-ish (or izzit rectangular-ish or oblong-ish?? :cheeky: ). in addition, less depth

still searching.....

it's call gear oil, should be 80W but not available here.

castrol gear oil 90W will be fine, we only need 130ml.

update update...

some prompt replies from the guy (name's Rob Parker) who posted the pix in the link provided by amen23. did some editing before posting :

Me : can i know the exact price for the top box plus the rack? didn't even know they have 2 sizes. tried to get it through our honda local dealer, but they don't even have that part number.

Rob : here are the part numbers and the prices I paid in 1995.

08L42-MT3-B00 Bracket, Top Box $63.75

08L55-MV1-860 Top Box Black/Gray $127.50

The backrest pad on the gray box is from Corbin Seats

part number HST11-TR and currently costs $169.

Me : you reside in the US right?

Rob : Correct.

Me : do they have it in stock? or is there anyone intending to sell their used ones?

Rob : These trunks were only available in the US for a few months in 1995. Honda doesn't give us many accessory options here in the US like they do in Europe. I don't know of any used ones for sale currently but occasionally one will pop up on ebay. Or you can check the "selling/buying" section of this site:

I just purchased the 35 liter box from David Silverspares in England. I suggest you contact them for availability of the 25 liter. It's possible that they may still be available, I don't know. They definitely have Still have the 35 liter box and the mounting racks. The bottom part of the 35 liter box is identical to that of the 25 liter. They fit on the same bracket. Only the lid is different (deeper).

:goodluck:

=============================================

after which i went to the site he mentioned here..

prices for the 35 litre top box is 95 pounds, and the rack (think it's universal for both 25 and 35 litre top box) is 56 pounds.

all excluding shipping i think.... :slapforehead: *gulp*

have already emailed to enquire about the 25 litre box... for a positive reply...

wanna mass order? hahaha..... :cheeky:
