anyone knows where i can get this original top box for ST1100 from honda?

it's not as big as the 42L/45L GIVIs or KAPPAs, so cant put helmets. but it's sufficient to put anything else, eg bags, raincoat, groceries etc :cheeky:

it seems that boon siew doesn't even have this part number.

want to try ordering from the internet, but by god, don't even know how to start searching for it, as mostly i will get GIVIs or KAPPAs.....

hi kobane,

in my opinion, the bike is already huge and bulky as it is. i already have the side panniers for the helmets, so i dont need another huge trunk box for them, so i need just a smaller, but not too small box for my raincoats, bags, etc. moreover, the givi and kappa top boxes makes the handling rather awkward too, both stationary and while riding.

just so i happen to stumble upon this original top trunk, which looks rather neat and tidy when hooked up on a ST.

of course, if it's too expensive, i'll need to scrap this idea anyway. or another alternative is to venture into hepco & becker.

hi kobane,

infact, the top load is only allowed for less than 3kg. so those should be the stuffs like bike cover & rain coats. i didnt get any plms using it within the specific load.

those box sizes u wrote should be just fine unless u need it to be installed to race with other guys, our ST1100s isnt designed for that purpose.

I know that some of us are ordering SBF polo-Shirt for ourself.

Hi ev,

The usual way to calculate your mileage per litre is to top up your tank to near the neck of the opening. Remember to reset the speedometer. Then travel till the low fuel light appear. When you top-up your fuel the next time, take note of the total mileage and total litres of petrol pumped into your tank. from there, only can you tell......try not to top up bit by bit as that will not be accurate. Over a few top ups, you can then averagely tell the consumption....

Hope it helps... ;)

Hi... panclanrider...

Thanks for the advice...

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I have just service the bike n changeout some parts... So just gotta pray everythings will be ok... or else u guys will have to stop over more often if i were to join for any trip.... ( fill up petrol) kekeke...

Hi... kobane...

ST is so huge.. If the box is small... it will look weird... isn't it....

Hi ev,

I guess I didn't help much anyway....but everyone is trying to contribute, share and help one another....if it helps that good....:thumb:

Dun worry about breakdowns during trips, no one will be left behind alone...rite Simon...?? :D

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

First of all dun rush to get a bike after u pass.

sit down and think wat is ur main purpose of getting a big bike.

Touring, transport, weekends track? also ur budget. Try and find out more in there.

There are lots of bikers riding diff. bikes. U will find most of ur answer in here.
